1 T O U R N A M E N T O R G A N I Z E R I N F O R M A T I O N S H E E T To assist you in making decisions regarding your golf tournament the information below should be read. Selecting the day is the most important step, then everything falls into place. This sheet might not answer all your questions so please feel free to call me should you need more information. At the time of booking, the key items to address after the date has been selected is to set the size of your group so we may allocate the proper time for tee-offs and seating requirements for meals. Shawneeki will attempt to accommodate special dietary needs. If you have any menu questions or wish to issue drink tickets, run a tab, or provide wine on the table, please contact our Food and Beverage Manager. Your golf tournament is not considered an official event until the Tournament Contract is signed and returned with the correct deposit. Deposits must be received at Shawneeki with your returned contract to confirm your date. Please ensure your deposit is received at Shawneeki no later than 90 days before the tournament date. Confirmed numbers for food and beverage requirements, golfers and power carts must be submitted 8 days prior to your event. A tolerance of one foursome will be allowed due to last minute cancellations. A starting sheet with golfer names must be supplied with your final numbers in order for us to make your day run smoothly. Shawneeki Golf Club has a soft spike policy for golf shoes worn on the course.. Please ensure all golfers are aware of this new rule. We want to provide your tournament the best playing surface possible. No metal spikes or soccer shoes or cleats. All balances owing for your tournament day must be paid the day of your tournament. Please ensure you have sufficient funds. DRESS CODE No halter tops, bathing suits, cut off jeans, track pants, soccer shoes, baseball cleats, metal spiked golf shoes. Golf attire is a collared shirt, walking shorts or pants in good condition and now soft spiked golf shoes or running shoes. The club house and golf course are licensed by the LLBO and we will not permit guests to bring any alcoholic beverages onto the property to consume or to provide as prizes or gifts. Violators will be asked to leave the property without refund. Thank you for your co-operation.
