Pale & Hoppy using Perle, Tradition & Saaz hops. India Pale Ale is very bitter - true to the proper aromatic strong ale style designed to take an ocean 9 Beowulf Brownhills, Staffs IPA 7.20% voyage 10 Big Shed Shawbury, Shrops Engineer's Best 4.20% Maris Otter malt with a very modest addition of the darker malts. Bitterness comes from Challenger hops & finished with Savinski Goldings. As a nod towards to transportation of the Tolpuddle Martyrs to Australia I have include a whole heap of Australian hops (Ella) for additional flavour and aroma. Flaked barley enhances the creaminess of the head and gently smoothes the final flavour, while Northern Brewer hops lend a subtle hint of dark fruit.
