2 EVENTS & CATERING WITH T H E O V E R L A N D Relax and enjoy your next party, corporate or social event with the professional, friendly help of the Events and Catering Team from the Kalgoorlie Overland Motel. We offer catering for all types of events and look forward to helping to create an event to suit you in one of the many diverse venues Kalgoorlie Township has to offer. We can cater for cocktail and sit down events from (minimum-100) to (maximum-500) guests. Our Service times range from 6.00am midnight. Enjoy a delicious sit down lunch or dinner or perhaps choose from our platter/canape selection for a cocktail style event. 3 Recommended Venues The Town Hall A historic Grand building beautifully restored and maintained. The Race Club Marquee An open air venue overlooking the iconic Kalgoorlie-Boulder race track. Event Of Choice We are more than happy to provide our service at a variety of venues however venues other than the ones listed above are subject to suitability at the Overland s discretion, please note that venues with minimal kitchen facilities may incur extra equipment hire costs which will be shown in initial quote after viewing of the venue. All venues are to be contacted directly by the customer to make booking and hold all responsibility as the hirer of the venue. Inclusions with our event catering services (menu prices): We set the tables (i.e. - cutlery, plates, bowls, tall water glasses and napkins. (linen and chair covers listed in extras section-extra charges) Ongoing and phone communication from our events coordinator Service staff on the event Bar/Beverages Menu and Service can be provided if specified in booking form and approved by coordinator. Decorations Decorations are entirely the responsibility of the venue hirer. We are more than happy to assist in ideas for your event. As a general guideline we have the venue ready and completely set for final touches and decorations approximately four hours prior to commencement of the event (can complete the day prior if access to venue is organised.) 14 Terms and Conditions Deposits: To secure your booking a deposit is required, of $ Functions over $5000 a deposit of 25% of the total bill is required as a deposit. This amount will be deducted from your final account. Payment of the deposit will be taken as acceptance of our terms & conditions. Payment for functions can be made at the motel reception via cash or Eftpos or direct deposit in to the Overland account. (Please make sure you title your direct deposit payments the same as the name on your function booking for easy reference) If there is cancellation of the booking within 2 weeks of the function date the deposit is non-refundable. Prices and services are subject to change so customers are advised to be up to date with current package please feel free to contact functions coordinators to confirm Numbers: Final confirmation of numbers is required at least 7 days prior to function. Confirmed numbers or attending number will be charged, whichever is greater. Payment: Full payment of the account must be settled one week prior to the function unless other arrangements have been made. The overland motel reserve the right to make a pre authorisation with the card provided. Kalgoorlie Overland Motel reserves the right to cancel a booking if a deposit has not been made by the due date. Liability: Kalgoorlie Overland Motel will accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to any property belonging to the clients. The organiser/hirer of the function venue are responsible for any damage sustained to the venue, caused by their guests or associates prior to or after the function. If security is required for either venue or liquor licence the cost will be the responsibility of the organiser/venue. Times: Our Catering and Function Service concludes at 12 midnight, if the event organiser intends on having a later finish time than 12.00am, this must be specified in the initial consultation phase to the Overland Events Coordinator to be factored in to the quote. A fee of $ per hour may be charged for additional service wages if a function runs over allocated time. Events held on a public holiday will incur a 10% surcharge on the final invoice amount. Sunday and public holidays service surcharge will apply, this will be 5% of total bill on Sundays and 15% of total bill on public holidays.
