A premier resort nestled in the banks of the Missouri River, Cedar Shore Resort is captivating, relaxing, and fun-filled. Cedar Shore Resort opened its doors for business the summer of The Resort offers a hotel, full-service restaurant, conference center with seating capacity for 1,290 people, full-service marina and campground, all located on a beautiful 40 acres along the banks of the Missouri River in central South Dakota. THE HOTEL: Cedar Shore Resort offers 99 rooms. All of our rooms are nonsmoking. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. Kids stay free. Pets are welcome for a $10 fee per night. All sleeping have FREE high-speed internet connections. Cedar Shore Resort offers the bride and groom a complimentary king riverside room the night of their wedding. This complimentary room is based on the use of 15 or more sleeping rooms. If 10 sleeping rooms are used, the resort will offer a 50% discount on the king riverside room. A room block consists of rooms. Once these rooms are reserved and guaranteed we will add additional rooms based on availability. It is important to encourage immediate family and attendants to make [ 1 ]

3 their reservations early. There is no charge for holding a room block, although we do release the nonguaranteed rooms 45 days prior to arrival date. Riverside rooms feature two queen beds, refrigerator, wetbar, microwave, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, free high speed internet, iron and ironing board and your own personal deck or balcony overlooking the Missouri River! King riverside rooms available too! Hillside rooms feature two queen beds, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, free high speed internet, iron and ironing boards. Pool side rooms feature two queen beds, refrigerator, wetbar, microwave, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, free high speed internet, iron and ironing board and access to the pool right from your room. Dining Room Suite features king bed in a separate room with sliding door. There are an additional 13 tent sites for those who want to get back to nature. The office offers limited groceries, laundry, shower house, ice, fi rewood and cold beverages. We provide a 24 x 40 covered picnic shelter for rent with electricity, a 3 ft charcoal grill and a serving shelf. Enjoy our basketball court, playground or horseshoe pit, but if nature is your passion, you can walk miles along the banks of the river on our bike and walk path. Open April 1 - September 30. 11 POLICIES RECEPTION GUARANTEE In order to provide quality service and properly arrange your function, a guaranteed number of attendees must be received one week prior to your reception date. The number is considered a guarantee and is not subject to reduction. If the banquet manager does not receive a guaranteed count, we will assume the maximum expected number as the guaranteed number. Payment in full is due 1 week prior to your reception. A current and valid credit card number will be requested to hold on file for any charges that may exceed previous payment. All prices are subject to change on the menu. Prices do not include a 18% service charge and 7% tax. FOOD AND BEVERAGES With the exception of cake, mints and nuts, no outside food or alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages are allowed in the conference center. Cedar Shore Resort must prepare all food and beverages. Removal of food and beverages is not permitted from the premises because of license restrictions. ENTERTAINMENT AND SECURITY Entertainment may last until 1 a.m. If loudness from bands, DJ s or wedding guests disturbs any other resort guests or becomes a problem, Cedar Shore Resort reserves the right to ask the patron or band leader to lessen the loudness or shut down. Before contracting your entertainment we ask you contact the banquet manager for review. Due to setting off the fire alarms, smoke machines are not allowed in the resort. If dance is planned, Cedar Shore Resort will hire security until the departure of the guests at a rate of $ $ depending on guest count. Receptions and dances at Cedar Shore Resort are limited to invited guests only and not open to the public. BARS Hosted or cash bars are available for your reception. Guests must be 21 years of age to purchase or drink alcohol. All liquor must be purchased through the resort. Bringing it in from your sleeping room is not permitted. A $35.00 bar set-up fee with a $15.00 per hour bartender fee will be applied. This will be waived if a minimum of $1, in cash bar sales per bartender during the event. DECORATING Please help avoid damage to wallpaper, woodwork and paint by not using staples, nail, tacks and tape for decorating. The banquet manager will assist you with any items that require ceiling or wall attachment. For hanging items from the ceiling, it will require a $125 fee for the lift and $25 per person per hour for labor. If you have contracted a florist or wedding planner to decorate for you, please let our banquet manger know. Due to fire restrictions, no open-flamed candles can be used. If glitter or any kind of confetti are used, a $100 fee will be added for cleanup. Decorations need to be removed after the event. WEDDING RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT The deposit is due 7 days from the date we place a tentative hold on your wedding. You will receive a contract in the mail, which you will need to sign and return with your deposit. If we do not receive your deposit within 7 days of the date sent, we will give you a courtesy call. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the reservation will automatically be released, without written notice. In order to secure the space, a $ non-refundable deposit is required.
