The Bear has flexible spaces throughout, catering for all different event needs; from private dining and buffets to casual get-together s and business meetings. We can cater for a wide range of menus from canapés to three course meals and are happy to chat through exactly what you want for your guests. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and knowing that no two events are ever the same; we are here to make sure your event goes off without a hitch.

3 PRIVATE DINING This is an ideal space for smaller groups, perfect for a sit down meal or a business meeting, with use of a television available. The doors can be left open or closed, to create an intimate atmosphere. 14 ORANGE ROOM The furthest section in our restaurant provides a semi private area, with lots of natural lighting and plenty of soft furnishings. This is a very versatile space, with its flexibility allowing us to accommodate buffets or large sit down meals

5 BOOTH ROOM AND ORANGE ROOM Combining two areas of our restaurant provides the ideal space for large parties, with lots of seating and opportunities to move a great deal around to maximise this space to cater for your party s needs BEAGLE A cosy section in the bar next to the fire place, the Beagle is an excellent space for buffets or a relaxed casual get together with friends, family or colleagues. 35

7 ALCOVES A large bright area that brings the outside in with doors that open up to our top terrace, fantastic for buffets and is ideally situated in front of our bar. 30 ALCOVES AND OUTSIDE TOP TERRACE These two areas work in perfect harmony as the alcoves have direct access to the top terrace, creating a marvellous space for those summer time celebrations. 60

8 OUTSIDE PRIVATE DINING Our outside private terrace is superb for intimate summertime alfresco dining. Alternatively to maximise the space, include a small area in the bar and it's ideal for a casual get together of around 20 people GARDEN Make the most of a sunny day with our stunning garden, this large open space is perfect for any summer time party, with plenty of seating, a private bar and BBQ area creating the ideal location for any celebration. 80

13 TERMS & CONDITIONS SECURING YOUR BOOKING We are delighted to provisionally hold a booking date for you; however please be advised should we receive another enquiry during this time we reserve the right to ask you for immediate confirmation in writing, or we may release the date due to popular demand. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS Your booking is only confirmed once we have received the agreed deposit pre-payment which will be redeemed on the night of your event. The deposit is fully refundable up to 1 week prior to your bookings date. Any later than this and we re afraid it becomes non-refundable. The balance is payable on or before the day of your booking. On arrival we will kindly ask you for a card to act as a guarantee against our agreed minimum spend requirement. Should the minimum spend not be reached, the balance must be settled on the day. GUEST NUMBERS & PRE-ORDERING If you are pre-ordering any food, please confirm final guest numbers at least 5 days before your booking date. Please note that this will be the number charged to your final food bill. Please advise us if your guests have any special dietary requirements. SERVICE CHARGE For group and event bookings we add a discretionary 12.5% service charge to your final food and drinks bill. SPECIAL REQUESTS Do let us know if you have any particular requests no matter how far-fetched and we will always do our best for you.
