2 ABOUT US Jaipur Palace has earned the title as one of Durban s premier restaurant and conference facilities over the past two decades plus of serving the community. The beautifully Eastern themed, designed and decorated establishment is frequented by patrons from all walks of life. They include families near and far within the greater Durban region, private businesses as well as public organisations. Tourists from all parts of the world also love visiting us, while embracing the Durban s fine hospitality and delighting in traditional Indian food that has become famous all over. Jaipur Palace is also a multi award-winning establishment and holder of various accolades. These include winner of Best Indian Restaurant (Your Choice Awards Independent Newspapers, Daily News, KZN) for several years running, just to mention one achievement. 2

3 The founder, Mr Mody, is a seasoned businessman with more than three decades of business and direct industry experience. It is heart-warming to note that customers and peers alike describe him as extremely hands-on, humble and always client-centric. He originally identified a gap in the marketplace due to the severe shortage of upmarket facilities serving authentic Indian food in Durban. This idea saw the birthplace of Jaipur Palace. Originally an iconic restaurant in Riverside, Durban, for 9 years; the brand s celebrated name and unquestionable reputation for sumptuous meals soon saw the business needing more space to expand. A perfect location was identified in Durban North, where the business could grow and where it currently resides today. Now the enterprise includes both meals and conferencing facilities for catered corporate and private events. LOCATION Idyllically located along the beautiful east coast of KZN, Jaipur s elevated premises offers sea-views and is surrounded by lush nature. This comes as no surprise seeing that the location has one of the provinces crown jewels as the backyard. That is none other than the picturesque and immaculate Japanese Garden. 3

4 GROWTH AND FUTURE PLANS We are operating for more than 20 years, and have established an undisputed reputation for excellence in all we do. Originally situated in Riverside, the popularity of our brand lead to us expanding into a larger premises, for the past 11 years. Our current location is along the same road as Hyper By-The-Sea and incidentally the former home of Langoustine By-The-Sea. Today Jaipur Palace has grown to include the following facilities: Main Restaurant with Buffet and A La Carte options, stand-alone Take-Away section with seating, Cocktail Bar as well as Corporate and Private function venues. Currently, we are excited to announce the arrival of our anticipated Jaipur food line which will include a range of snacks. This will be officially launched in

6 SERVICES Our establishment includes the following services: 1. Jaipur Main Restaurant - Lunch and Dinner Buffet: Main restaurant seats up to 200 people in the main hall and a further 250 in the extended hall. Widest selection of authentic Indian dishes - including a number of delectable curries, meat, seafood, stirfry, vegetarian, starters including savouries and salads as well as a range of tempting deserts. 2. Jaipur Main Restaurant - A La Carte: Patrons now have a choice when booking per table. The guests can choose between the Buffet or A` La Carte options. **Please note in order to keep our service as efficient as possible our policy is that the entire table must choose between either Buffet or A La Carte for all guests. 3. Jaipur Express - Take-Away: Many of our patrons also enjoy frequent use of our express facility. This take-away section serves a range of dishes based on our main selection of meals. You may call and place your order, or come in directly. Jaipur Express can seat a further 70 people here. 4. Venue Hire and Catering - Corporate and Private Events: We have 3 exclusive Venues for Hire: 6

7 a. Broadway Room (**Premier Venue) Seats up to 250 people comfortably, with overflow for 30 people if required. b. Jaipur Room Seats up to 50 people. c. Maharaja Room Seats up to 40 people.
