3 EXPRESS BREAKFAST $25.pp At The Last Piece, we pride ourselves on our breakfast, let us showcase what we offer, in both food and service for your event, whether it be a corporate gathering, or just a gathering of friends. Includes a St Ali. Coffee/Teadrop loose-leaf tea, shared platters and your choice of one of our breakfast favoruites. 12 TERMS AND AGREEMENTS The Last Piece specialises in functions, ranging from small intimate groups to larger celebrations. The Last Piece can offer a private mezzine level, a larger private section of the downstairs restaurant (oval side) and/or the whole restaurant for hire. Whatever the event, our variety of menus and spaces can cater to any occasion, budget and desired atmosphere. Depending on the function and area, we can cater from 15 guests to 250. At The Last Piece, our ethos is sustainability, healthy eating s and enjoyment for all. Therefore all dietary requirements and intolerances can be catered for. Functions can be held at breakfast, lunch, afternoon or dinner with most functions running for duration of 4-5 hours, finishing time to be no later than 12.30am(due to liquor licensing). THE FINER DETAILS (T&C S) BALOONS AND DECORATIONS Balloons & other form of decorations are more than welcome to personalise your special occasion with your own touch. If you require a recommendation of a decoration supplier we are happy to provide you with one. (No confetti or glitter please) AUDIO AND VISUAL We can provide a projector in both our mezzanine and downstairs area, the use of our plasma TV in our mezzanine area and also use of our in house ipod, CD stereo system is available (no extra cost). DJS AND LIVE MUSIC We allow DJ s and live music for most events however special requirements are to be adhered to, but please speak with us further as some requirements will have to be met. 12
13 CAKEAGE We do allow for you to bring your own cake although a charge of $30 (or $2 per person, whichever is less). This includes the service of your cake, including cutting and dressing. This fee will be wavered if a 3 course set menu option or a deluxe canapé option is selected. LINEN We are able to arrange linen (table cloths) and linen napkins for your function to create a more formal touch. Linen is priced at $2 per person however we do provide table paper & paper napkins. CONDITIONS AND BOOKING TERMS A condition of $250 deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit will be deducted from your total amount. During the Christmas period, a $500 deposit is required, and 30 days cancellation notice. Full payment must be paid at the conclusion of your function. A surcharge of 2% will be added for all Credit Card payments. Cheques written to Romulus, Remus & Adrian Pty Ltd are accepted. Final numbers for catering and persons must be confirmed 3 days prior your function date, unfortunately no reductions in numbers will be accepted after confirmation of numbers. CANCELLATIONS POLICY Your deposit is completely refundable with 45 days or more notification of cancellation. If notification of cancellation is received between 45 to 14 days prior to the function date, half the deposit is refundable. If less than 14 days notice is received for cancellation, deposit is non- refundable. PROPERTY DAMAGE The clients are financially responsible for any damage sustained to our premises during the function including audio and equipment. RESPONSIBILITY The Last Piece does not accept any responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise or the personal property left at the restaurant by any 13
14 person prior to, or after the function. FOOD & BEVERAGE No food or beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought on to the premises for consumption at the function by the organiser or any of the organiser s guests, without prior approval of the cafe with the exception of one celebration cake. 14
