(Age:55) Fresh Tomato Basil Pizza Ingredients: 1 package store bought pizza dough, such as Trader Joe s, or use homemade dough 2 or 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced About ½ tsp. flaked sea salt 2 to 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil small tomatoes, halved or quartered 6 or 7 basil leaves, torn Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees with a pizza stone on the bottom rack. 2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured pizza peel or upside down large baking sheet. Press garlic slices into surface of dough and season salt. Slide pizza from peel onto hot pizza stone in oven. 3. Bake Pizza until puffed, blistered, and browned, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven, drizzle liberally with oil, and top with tomatoes and basil. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.

12 Chi Kung For Caregivers & Family Nevada Senior Services Adult Day Care Center of Las Vegas 901 N. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, NV P: F: /10/12 Dear Family Members, Thank you for participating in Nevada Senior Services Program Chi Kung for Caregivers & Family. This is a specialized wellness outreach program specifically aimed towards care partners and other family members. This unique program is made possible by grant funding through the Nevada Aging and Disabilities Services Division. As part of our grant reporting, we will be conducting periodic testing (mood and caregiver stress questionnaires) to provide the evidence-based results of this new program. (At the beginning, after 6 months and 12 months). If you have not done so already, please contact me, Dee Dee Woodberry, Activity Director to make an intake appointment prior to the first class at (702) or dwoodberry@adultdaycarelv.org. Classes are one hour in length, once a week on Monday evenings 5:30-6:30 PM Starting August 20, There is no fee for this program. Please arrive between 5:15 and 5:25 to ensure that there is no disruption of the class. Chi Kung is a combination of choreographed seated movement, sound vibrations and guided meditations to promote healing and relaxation by releasing negative emotions such as worry, anxiety, grief and anger. To support your participation, Nevada Senior Services will provide day care services for your loved one at no charge during the program, if needed.
