4 THE ROSE ROOM Named after the beautiful, wild Briar roses historically adorning the vineyards, The Rose Room is the perfect setting for your reception. Decorated in the French Provincial style, The Rose Room creates an elegant and romantic atmosphere that will complement any wedding theme and decor. The Rose Room and adjoining terrace can accommodate cocktail or seated functions and will be available for five (5) hours from the commencement of the canapé and beverage service. Bistro Molines has acquired many accolades including a Chef s Hat in the prestigious SMH Good Food Guide, received each year since Head Chef Robert Molines and his team will create a five-star menu for your special day featuring quality produce that is locally sourced, freshly prepared onsite and matched to complement Briar Ridge wines. Our five (5) hour beverage packages feature the stunning Briar Ridge Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir and a selection of table wines from our popular Varietal, Signature and Limited Release labels. A choice of two (2) full-strength beers as well as light-beer, soft drink and table water is also available for your special day. 7 TERMS & CONDITIONS Clients refer to the Bride and Groom Service Extensions Canapés (following ceremony) - 30 minutes Sparkling Wine (following ceremony) - 30 minutes Venue Hire and Beverage Package - 1 hour $15.00 per person $ per person $ $10.00 per person Duration Ceremonies will commence no earlier than 4.00pm and will take place on the upper tier of the front garden, unless negotiated otherwise with Briar Ridge. The beverage package runs for five (5) hours from the commencement of the Sparkling Wine service (following the ceremony) or from 5.oopm, whichever is earlier and concludes 30 minutes before the close of function. The venue closes at 11.30pm. No alcohol will be served after 11.00pm in accordance with licensing restrictions. your strict adherence to this request is appreciated. NB: Clients do not have exclusive rights to the Briar Ridge premises and grounds. The Cellar Door and deck is not available until 5.30pm daily unless prior approval for early access has been granted. Venue Hire Fees A fee of $1,250 is required to hire the venue for the nominated wedding date. This includes a $250 ceremony fee for access to the Briar Ridge Vineyard and grounds for photography. This amount, plus an additional $500 security bond is payable at the time of booking. The booking will not be confirmed until these amounts have been received by Briar Ridge Vineyard. The security bond will be credited to the client s nominated account no later than five (5) days post event. In the unlikely event of damage to property, these costs will be deducted from the bond before it s refunded. Credit card details must be left to pay any outstanding amount following the reception (e.g. beverage package extension or extra guest). This amount, if applicable will be charged at the end of the function. Payment Schedule Three (3) months prior to the confirmed wedding date, 50% of the total catering costs are payable. One (1) month prior to the confirmed wedding date, the remaining 50% (balance) of the total catering costs are payable. These payment dates will be confirmed on the Booking Form. Cancellation The venue hire fee of $1,250 will be forfeited by the client if cancellation occurs within four (4) months of the confirmed event date. Late cancellations (within 14 days of the event), or a no show, will incur 100% of the total venue hire and catering costs. Food & Beverage Selection & Guest Information Final food and beverage selections are due no later than two (2) months prior to the confirmed event date. It is the responsibility of the client to provide written notification of any special dietary requirements of attending guests. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than two (2) weeks prior to the confirmed event date. Availability of selected wine stock is subject to change. Pricing Every effort will be made to ensure the pricing quoted herein remains the same from the time of booking until the function, however prices as printed may be subject to change. Please note a 15% surcharge applies for Sundays & Public Holidays. Responsibility Should Briar Ridge Vineyard be unable to provide the facilities reserved due to circumstances beyond our control, no further claim other than an entitlement to a full refund of any deposits paid may be made. Briar Ridge will endeavour to provide clients with reasonable notice should such a situation arise. Briar Ridge and Bistro Molines accept no responsibility for any injury to any person or damage or loss of any person's property whilst on the Briar Ridge premises or grounds or following the event. The client shall remain responsible at all times for any loss or damage to the property of Briar Ridge or Bistro Molines caused by clients, guests and suppliers. This includes but is not limited to any damage to the building, artwork, décor or chairs and excessive breakage of glassware as deemed by management. Responsible Service of Alcohol In accordance with NSW Liquor and Gaming legislation, and the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Briar Ridge Vineyard reserves the right to cease the supply of all alcoholic beverages to any guest who shows signs of intoxication. Additionally, Briar Ridge Vineyard reserves the right to close the bar and cease all service of alcohol before scheduled function close if staff deems it necessary to abide by liquor laws and/or protect guests. Persons under the age of eighteen (18) years are not permitted to consume alcohol on Briar Ridge Vineyards premises and must be in the immediate presence of a parent or guardian. Only Briar Ridge wines will be served at the event. BYO is strictly prohibited - no beverages may be brought onto site. Decorations, Décor, Furniture & Gifts Briar Ridge is not responsible for decorations, décor or furniture provided by or on behalf of the client. The client shall contact Briar Ridge no less than two (2) weeks prior to the confirmed event date to arrange a mutually convenient time for the venue to be decorated. Clients, guests or service providers shall not screw, staple or pin anything to any surface or part of the venue. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all decorations and gifts are removed at the end of the reception or the following morning (where prior arrangements have been made). A cleaning fee of $200 will be charged to the client in the event that theming has not been removed sufficiently.
