Our stunning Dun Bhlathain Suite with its magnificent high ceilings, exposed beams, wooden floors and delightful views overlooking the Cathedral can be transformed to meet your aspirations however extravagant or understated you wish and can accommodate up to 50 day guests and 60 evening guests. We also offer an intimate setting for smaller weddings where you can choose exactly how you would like your day to be. Our Chapel is perfect for a small service or blessing followed by a celebratory meal for up to 20 guests in our Kirk Lounge with views across Cathedral Square. 2 The Chapel at Our charming 13 th century Chapel sets the scene for an enchanting and truly unforgettable wedding. Steeped in history, this unique space is something very special. The rounded stone ceiling set with starry lights, the beautiful solid stone walls, the romantic candles and the circular wooden benches make this an intimate venue, perfect for a service or blessing of up to 40 guests. The service can be conducted by a minister, humanist or registrar. The Chapel has an outdoor terrace on which you and your guests can enjoy drinks following the service, whilst taking in views of the gardens and Dunblane Cathedral. 9 Wedding Terms and Conditions 1. The Agreement The Agreement, which consists of the Booking Form and these Terms and Conditions, does not include any other oral or written promises, terms or conditions. Any amendment or change to the Agreement shall have no effect unless agreed upon in a writing that refers specifically to the Agreement and is executed by duly authorised representatives of all/both parties. Each Agreement returned signed by the Client shall be an offer by the Client to purchase Event facilities and services and shall only become a binding Agreement when countersigned Management. 2. Confirmations and Guest Numbers The final details of the Event (such as final timings, menus and special requests) must be confirmed at least 28 days before the Event. The Client must inform of the Final Numbers for catering purposes at least 28 Days before the Event. The Client shall provide with details of the Event, names of guests and relevant third parties, upon request, when required. 3. Payment 3.1 Price. The price for the Event shall be calculated as stated on the confirmation and includes Vat at current rate. 3.2 Payment, Client will be required to pay the deposit of 50% of the value of the event of numbers x menu price (balances shall follow see schedule below). No allowance or refund can be made for rooms, nights, meals and other elements not taken within the agreed package rate. Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling (UK) payable to by cheque, BACS, bankers draft or by prior agreement, a debit or credit card. (credit cards attract additional fees). 3.3 Deposits. The Client must pay deposit payment(s) specified in the Booking Form. If the Client fails to pay as per schedule (in its sole and absolute discretion) treat the Event as having been cancelled by the Client. 3.4 Deposit schedule Upon Confirmation a 500 Non Refundable Deposit is required. 180 days prior to the event 50% of the estimated final bill is to be paid. 28 days prior to the event the final balances of food and drink packages is to be paid. Accommodation All accommodation is booked on an advance purchase basis based on best available rate. All deposits are non-refundable, unless space and rooms are resold. 10 4. Cancellation by Client 4.1 If the Client wishes to cancel an Event or cancel the reservation of some or part of an event, the Client must provide written notice of cancellation. Cancellation shall be effective, final and binding on the Cancellation Date. Any notice of cancellation received out of the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm shall be deemed made on the next Working Day. Any postponement of any Event shall be considered as a cancellation under this Clause. 5. Outside Services Prior consent must be obtained for any entertainment or services contracted for the Event by the Client, all of which must comply with any statutory codes and regulations and understand our noise policy. The Client shall indemnify for any loss or damage resulting from the acts or omissions of such third party suppliers. shall not be held responsible for non- delivery of services from any third party service whether they be recommended or not. 6. Damage or loss The Client shall be responsible to for any damage or loss caused to the allocated rooms or the fixtures, fittings, furnishings, ornaments, contents, utensils, equipment, marquee or grounds therein or to The venue generally by any act, default or neglect of the Client or any guest, sub-contractor or employee of the Client and shall pay on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage, we reserve the right to pre authorise a credit card as a security bond prior to your event.
