Norma s sisters names: Theresa Wegner and the late Wilma Butterfield. Norma attended grade school which was 1-8 grades at Country School District 11, and attended high school for 1 year in Wisner. Norma is especially close to her sister Theresa and her niece Marlene that takes care of her. Her nephews are also very important in her life. Norma has lived in either Wisner or Stanton her whole life. Norma worked on the family farm milking the cows by hand and driving the tractor. She also worked at the Stanton Health Center in dietary for 24 years. Some of Norma s hobbies are that she enjoys baking, doing crafts and gardening. One of her talents is cooking and baking from scratch. Some of the interesting stories that Norma remembers are going to the fair each year with her family. She states, It was our vacation. Gardening, canning and freezing food are some of her fondest memories. She also remembers having to butcher meat from the animals on the farm to feed the family. Later in life Norma states that she took care of her parents where they lived on the farm until they moved into town. Congratulations Norma!!
