This annual event is designed not only to open business avenues for exhibitors and buyers but also to bring forth issues and policy initiatives related to the Hot Beverage segment. The biggest need of the hour is to provide this segment an organized & focused platform from where it is possible to exchange ideas and interact with other players / buyers and stakeholders. Over next 5 years India s Tea & Coffee consumption will grow manifold making it paramount to showcase India s leadership in hot beverage sector. WTCE is one such attempt in the direction 2

3 The Background Highly successful FIRST edition of World Tea & Coffee Expo was held in Feb Mumbai, INDIA. The inaugural edition was highly praised by exhibitors, buyers and visitors and was hailed by industry bodies & experts as the definitive & only business exchange platform for Hot beverages sector. The first edition had about 35 exhibitors from 7 countries and trade visitors. The expo established a niche space for a dedicated show for the Tea & Coffee sectors. 3

5 About WTCE The World Tea & Coffee Expo was launched in 2013 to offer an organized avenue for all the industry stakeholders to come together under a single roof for networking, business expansion and ideas exchange. Cutting through a plethora of food and food processing shows and focusing purely on the tea and coffee segments, the Expo has established itself as the official Industry show with just two editions under its belt. WTCE offers huge potential for networking, accessing/showcasing advanced technologies, marketing alliances, appointing Distributors, franchising, bulk orders, joint ventures and overall branding. This show is supported by Ministry of Commerce through Tea Board & Coffee Board and is also supported by leading associations and chambers from across the world. The 2014 Edition witnessed display of an exotic range of Tea & Coffee products, machineries, technologies, country boards and certification bodies. There was a 2 day High Level Conference and an interactive workshop. 5
