1 Welcome Thank you for considering Zia s Italian Café Bar & Restaurant for your next function. The following package has been designed to cater for any type of function. From big events to just small events, Zia s can help make it special. Zia s is sectioned into two separable areas. The Restaurant Main Room, has elegant seating for up to 50 persons seated or up to 70 standing. We also have OB s Lounge which is a more casual lounge bar area with mainly standing of up to about 50 people (casual setting available for around 26). We also have an Alfresco area where we can cater to smaller functions too. So whether you re looking for a small group to a large group for a function or event we have you covered. 5 Platters We recommend you order at least one platter for every 7-8 people attending your function for a light snack; or one platter for every 3-4 people for something more substantial (in lieu of lunch or dinner) Minimum order required for all private functions where alcohol is served see Functions Coordinator Our extensive finger food menu offers you choice and value for your function catering. Should you require anything that is not listed in the menu please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. All platters cater for approximately 8-10 people each as a light snack, or 4-6 as something more substantial. We require a minimum order of one platter per ten people, to align with the responsible service of alcohol practises of the venue. 6 T s & C s Zia s Café Bar & Restaurant is operating under an accredited Food Safety Program. In the interest of patron safety all food must be consumed on premise, therefore we are unable to provide take away services. T s & C s Office of Racing, Gaming & Liquor and Zia s Café Bar & Restaurant Management Policy 1.1 Only beverages purchased from the venue can be consumed on the premises. Patrons may not bring in externally purchased beverages onto the property. 1.2 No food may be brought into the venue without prior consent from the Venue Manager. 1.3 Zia s Café Bar & Restaurant actively supports the responsible service of alcohol and as such any patron deemed to be adversely affected by alcohol will be required to immediately vacate the premises. This includes people who display aggressive, argumentative, or otherwise undesirable behaviour. This reflects both the legal requirements in Western Australia, as well as the desire of Zia s to be a caring and ethical leader in the hospitality industry. 1.4 All staff, including security, have the right to request proof of identification at any time. The law in Western Australia states that the only acceptable forms of identification are a Passport, Australian Drivers Licence, or a Western Australian Proof of Age card. Any patron who cannot provide one of these documents may be required to immediately vacate the premises. 1.5 Minors are allowed to attend private functions at Zia s, however, management must be forewarned of the presence of any underage persons (including exact numbers and ages). All juveniles must arrive with, at all times remain in the company of, and leave with their parents or legal guardians. 1.6 Anyone who is immodestly or indecently dressed; taking part in, undertaking or performing any activity or entertainment on licensed premises that is of a lewd or indecent nature is prohibited as per Zia s liquor license. This includes R rated moving pictures, contractors, employees, or any patrons. Any breach of this condition will result in the immediate conclusion of the function, with no liability for refunds of any nature resting with Zia s. The credit card below will be billed for any outstanding charges. Deposit and Payment Policy 2.1 No booking is confirmed until the Booking Confirmation Form is filled out and returned, complete with credit card information. 2.2 Cash, EFTPOS, Master Card, Visa, AMEX and Diners Club are the only acceptable forms of payment. Unfortunately all other credit cards, cheques and direct funds transfer are not accepted. 2.3 By signing and completing the Booking confirmation form you accept full liability for any expenses relating to theft or damage caused by any guests of the function. Payment is non-negotiable and is required within thirty (30) days of the completion of the function. 2.4 All food orders are required a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the function. 2.5 Bar tabs can either be paid in advance, or on the night prior to commencement. Alternatively a credit card can be held behind the bar by management and the tab can be paid upon conclusion of the function. 2.6 Should a balance remain outstanding at the conclusion of your function, it will be charged to the credit card provided on the booking form. Cancellation Policy 3.1 For set menu functions the number of guests attending must be confirmed no later the 72 hours before commencement. This is the minimum number of guests you will be charged for. Smoking Policy 4.1 Zia s Main Bar and Restaurant alfresco are all non-smoking areas. By law, the designated smoking areas are located in the ground floor courtyard. I, understand and accept the above terms and conditions.
