We are able to offer a variety of spaces that can cater from small groups up to 150 people in a fantastic location for any private or corporate function. The Lakes Lounge bar, located at the rear of building, is a modern elegant room. Varying furniture sections are also around the room allowing for multiple usage. There is also 2 outdoor courtyard areas available to use. To cater for your music on the night we have the ability to have live entertainment till 10pm or we have I-Pod docks that you may use. 6 Terms and conditions Prices - All prices quoted below are inclusive of GST. Prices may be subject to change without notice. The Lakes lounge & courtyard is available for exclusive bookings for functions with confirmed guest numbers of 150 people. Exclusive use of the area incurs a minimum spend of $2500 over the bar and $700 on food. For functions with less than 150 guests, another function area may be booked. Please contact for minimum spends Hiring Times - Lakes lounge areas are available from 10am - midnight every day. Deposit - In order to confirm a function booking, a deposit of $200 is required, as well as credit authorization slip completed for security purposes only and this form signed and dated below Payment - All amounts must be settled before the function begins. This includes all food, bar tabs, packages and security costs. We accept credit card or cash payments. American Express is also accepted Packages/Catering - Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the function. After this time there will be no refunds if numbers have decreased Cancellation - In the event of a confirmed function being cancelled within 10 days or less of the function date the client will be charged 100% of the food costs. Any cancellations made within 28 days or less of the function date will result in a non-refundable deposit Damages - The client shall remain responsible at all times for any loss or damage to the property of the Hotel caused by the client, guests and invitees. We cannot take responsibility for the damage, or loss of items before, during and after a function. We therefore suggest the client considers obtaining insurance cover. Argos Investments Pty Ltd, trading as the Lakes Hotel will not take any responsibility for lawsuits or damages incurred to anyone Decorations- Nothing is to be attached to the walls, doors, windows or other surface without prior consent. Food- Due to free room hire our restaurant must cater for all food, cakes excluded. If more food is required on the night please see management before the kitchen closes at 9pm to put an order in Responsible Service of Alcohol - If any of your guests become intoxicated as determined by our staff or security it is a requirement by law that they are removed from the premises. We do not allow 18 th Birthdays. NO ID, NO ENTRY (Drivers licence, Proof of age card or Passport only), so make sure all guests bring one of these with them. Provisions of Goods and Services Supplied by the Client - Delivery of hired equipment supplied by the client to the Hotel must be advised to the Manager prior to the delivery and must be delivered to a designated area. The Hotel will not be held responsible for the security, set-up or transportation of this equipment and will not be responsible for any damage or loss sustained Security - For bookings held in the Lakes hotel with up to 80 guests security will be charged out at $35 per hour for a minimum of 4 hours. With bookings over 80 guests we require that at least 2 guards are used. This is a compulsory charge. If you have under booked an extra guard will be charged to cover increased numbers Live Entertainment Lakes Hotel till 10pm = All requests for live entertainment must be approved by management prior to event. DVD s & photo slides -We have the equipment to be able to play DVD s and DVD photo slide shows. Prior to the night we request that they are tested here so there are no complications on the night. Ensure there is a repeat function enabled so as to play continuously throughout your function Children on Premises - Children under the age of 18 are permitted in the function areas of the hotel (excluding gaming room) but must be in the immediate presence of an adult at all times (standing/sitting next to a parent, not alone or running around venue).they must vacate the premises prior to 10pm Sound Levels - Due to various council and licensing regulations, the management reserves the right to monitor and adjust any sound level. No external sound equipment is permitted to be brought onto the premises. Unforeseen Circumstances - In the event of inability to comply with any of the provisions of this contract by virtue of any cessation or interruption of electricity or gas supplies, plant or equipment failure, unavailability of food items, other unforeseen contingency or accident the Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking or refund any deposit without notice I have read and accepted the above terms and conditions Name: Signature: Function Date: / /
