1 MENU At The Stables Bar we are committed to creating innovative food, sourcing organic, free range, local and seasonal produce wherever possible. Our chefs pride themselves on making everything we serve in-house. The kitchen team bake our bread, cure/smoke our meat, fish and poultry as well as creating all their own condiments. 2 Dating back to the 19th century, The Stables Bar was originally home to one of Perth s first horse stables. In 1894, local businessman Jonathon Butterworth purchased the site and began construction of his landmark residence and stables. A farm and hardware store were added in In 2012, the historic building was transformed into The Stables Bar, seamlessly blending its rich past with a fresh modern attitude.
