This includes exclusive use of the The Boathouse, cost of the boathouse team and the following styling: - Chinese lanterns on the festoon lighting on the lower deck - Flowers and large displays - Rustic style furniture and interiors - Lounge area with coffee table on sisal rug - Lobster pot vase candle lighting - Palm Beach scented candles in the bathrooms - Fruit and flower displays at the boathouse entrance - Festoon lighting in the garden and on the wharf

14 oyster bar An optional extra which is unique and enticing to each guest is an Oyster Bar. On arrival surprise your guests with an oyster bar which allows them to be served freshly shucked oysters by our chefs with a selection of condiments. Our chefs will also share their abundant knowledge of the seafood as your guests enjoy the delicious oysters. $15.00 per person approximately 3 oysters per person + includes chef (can be selected for a minimum of 50 guests only)

15 cheese An optional extra which appeals to us all is serving a variety of Cheeses at your event. Allow your guests to enjoy a wonderful selection of local and imported artisan cheeses. Presented by our staff on oversized porcelain platters, learn about the array of cheeses on offer which are served with a fig + walnut log, fresh strawberries and paddle crisp bread. $15.00 per person (can be selected for a minimum of 50 guests only)

19 THE BOATHOUSE TERMS + CONDITIONS capacity The Boathouse Palm Beach canapé func]on can hold up to 150 guests. dura(on All func]ons at The Boathouse Palm Beach have a dura]on of 5 hours from 6pm only. func(on days You can choose any week day or Saturday night for your func]on at The Boathouse. We do not offer Sundays or Public Holiday days. deposit, payment terms + agreement form To confirm your booking we require an ini]al security deposit of $ (credited towards the final account) and a signed + completed copy of the Security + Agreement Form. This is required within 7 days of making your reserva]on. The Boathouse holds the right to cancel any bookings not held with a deposit security and completed Security + Agreement Form. 50% of the minimum spend is due 60 days before your event. Full payment for your event is due 14 days prior to the func]on date, no later. Payment by cash, direct debit or bank cheque incurs no surcharge. Any payments of $500 or more paid by credit card incurs a 2% surcharge M/Card and Visa only. Any extra charges or outstanding addi]onal invoices must be paid in full prior to departure at the end of your recep]on. Payments can be made by Visa or MasterCard (2% surcharge for anything $ or more), Cash or Bank Cheque. the boathouse charge For any func]on held at The Boathouse, $ is charged. This includes exclusive use of the The Boathouse, cost of staff and styling. security Organisers/Hosts are financially liable for any damage sustained, or loss incurred to The Boathouse property, fixtures or fiqngs, through their own ac]ons, those of their guests, sub- contractors and contractors. Credit Card details are required at the ]me of your booking to cover any damages that may occur. The Security + Agreement Form will be supplied to you on the day of your booking to fill out and return to the Event Coordinator within 7 days. Credit Card details are the only form of security accepted. final numbers & menu selec(on The guaranteed number of guests arending the func]on is required at least 21 days prior to the event for catering and staffing needs. Once final numbers are given this will be taken as confirmed. The final invoice will be issued to you 21 days prior to your event. Catering will be provided for this number and this will be the minimum charged irrespec]ve of last minute cancella]ons. All final food + beverage selec]ons are also required at least 21 days prior to the func]on. All food is subject to seasonal change, however no]fica]on will be given for this.

20 cancella(on policy Whilst we understand, due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel/postpone your func]on, the following must apply: All cancella]ons or change of date made incur a loss of full deposit. No credits will be given for change of date or for the general cafe trade. Any cancella]on made 60 days or less prior to your event, will incur a loss of 50% of the minimum spend. All cancella]ons made within 14 days of your event will incur a loss of all monies due as stated on your invoice. Cancella]ons must be confirmed to The Boathouse in wri]ng. Due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather condi]ons or accidents, The Boathouse reserves the right to cancel any booking and refund any deposit or payments made. addi(onal (supplier) meals Meals for entertainers, photographers and videographers must be $60.00 per head. prices The Boathouse Palm Beach makes every effort to maintain prices, however they may be subject to altera]on prior to your func]on due to food and beverage price increases. However we will guarantee that any increase will not exceed 7% of your chosen package. All prices are inclusive of GST. minimum spend A minimum spend for a Friday or Saturday evening Func]on of $15, is required for any func]on held at The Boathouse Palm Beach. The minimum spend for a Monday- Thursday wedding is $10, Should your guest numbers fall short of the minimum spend, the full minimum tariff will be charged. The Boathouse Charge amount of $ can be used to make up the minimum spend amount. alcohol and decorum The Boathouse Palm Beach is a fully licensed venue. No BYO beverages are permired. It is your responsibility to ensure the orderly conduct of your guests. All beverages are subject to seasonal change, however no]fica]on will be given for this. due care Whilst our staff will take care, no responsibility will be taken for damage or loss of goods, equipment or merchandise leu on the premises prior to, during or auer the func]on. The following items are not permired at your func]on: wax candles, confeq, rice, streamer poppers, flower petals, or sequin type scarers eg. stars, hearts. public liability insurance The Boathouse does hold public liability insurance HOWEVER all external suppliers will be required to have their own Public Liability Insurance. The Boathouse public liability insurance is very specific to our venue and fit out. No harm or damage to guests caused by any external supplier equipment, styling decor, furniture or goods are covered by The Boathouse Palm Beach. cleaning fee A cleaning fee will be charged, at the discre]on of Management, should the Cafe premises be leu in an unacceptable state.

21 decor + styling All major furniture items, fixtures + fiqngs must remain as styled + posi]oned by The Boathouse. The Boathouse together with Collec]ve Events, offers an addi]onal styling service to suit your wedding or func]on. Please contact us for theming ideas and a quote. equipment hire The Boathouse Palm Beach has established rela]onships with professional hire companies and recommended suppliers to look auer all your equipment needs and services. Please contact us for a quote based on your requirements. All marquee hire + dance floor hire is done through The Boathouse only. external contractors All external contractors and hire must be advised to The Boathouse 14 days prior to your func]on and are subject to approval by management. The Boathouse can apply limits or ]me restric]ons on the contractors. entertainment/music The Boathouse Palm Beach is only too happy to offer some sugges]ons for your music entertainment. All equipment must be supplied by your hired Band or DJ as The Boathouse does not have facili]es for this. Whilst we understand that you are wan]ng music at your func]on, music sound levels must be kept at a par]cular pitch level. Please ask that the band/dj to contact Rhiannon Swan to confirm this level. decora(ons Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, blue- tacked or adhered in any way to any wall, door or other part of The Boathouse. All decora]ons must be approved by the Func]on Coordinator prior to the recep]on. tas(ngs The Boathouse Palm Beach does not offer food or beverage tas]ngs. However, the cafe menus at The Boathouse Palm Beach and The Boathouse Balmoral, reflect the style we bring to suit your wedding or func]on. smoking In accordance with the NSW Health and Hygiene laws, smoking is prohibited within The Boathouse Palm Beach, the marquees and surrounding areas. Guests will be directed to a designated smoking area outside. gratuity Gratui]es are discre]onal and are appreciated by The Boathouse Palm Beach staff. indemnity The Boathouse Palm Beach guarantees the use of the freshest ingredients and ensures that food is prepared under the most hygienic condi]ons. However no liability is taken by The Boathouse Palm Beach for any latent defect in any product used. food allergies Please advise details of guests with food allergies when confirming final numbers. Whilst the chef and kitchen staff will do their utmost to ensure the said allergen is not in the meals prepared, we cannot guarantee it as our kitchen does use a wide variety of ingredients on a daily basis.
