5 THE SINGLE MALT WHISKY SELECTION Like the fine wines of the world, the single malt whiskies of Scotland are grouped by region. * SCALE FROM 1 TO 5 Lowland Auchentoshan 25ml % 12yo. The name Auchentoshan is from Gaelic Achadh an t-oisein and translates as the field of the corner. Leaves Richness 2 Ginger Hazelnut Sweetness 4 Cream Campbeltown Springbank 25ml % 15yo like a storm gathering off the Kintyre coast is dark and ominous, yet delicious. Best enjoyed after the meal, this is a true classic. Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts Smoke 4 Vanilla Sweetness 4 Leather Islands Highland Park 25ml % 12yo remains one of the gold- standard malts for other distillery bottlings to aspire to.
