2 ROOFTOP THE JUNGLE MEETS THE CITY, WITH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR Opened in June of 2015, Taylor s rooftop bar and lounge is the venue that Sydney was desperately crying out for. You could be forgiven for forgetting that you were in the grasp of the 9-5 grind, in the middle of the corporate stranglehold, just by walking up the stairs, and into the greenery of Taylors superb set up. But then you look up, to see the city skyline dancing above you. You feel safe however, because just a few more steps away, awaits the stunningly designed, contemporary bar, highlighted by the copper keg hanging from the roof you ve reached your destination. An otherwise smart casual bar, the space is made remarkable by the stand out green wall which creates a mesmerising tableau of lush greenery that sits perfectly against the sun coming through the open roof, or the glowing lights of the night sky. Catering for any occasion, Taylor s creates an immense atmosphere that can t be reiocated anywhere else. Post work drinks, date nights, or star gazing city cocktails, coupled with live local and international music acts, make it the perfectly balanced venue that you will never want to leave. 3 OPENING TIMES Monday-Saturday / 12:00pm-late Sunday: Closed Whilst the rooftop cannot be hired exclusively, we have plenty of spaces available to host your desired social or corporate occasion. Here at Taylor s we like to tailor packages on an event by event basis, so you re getting exactly what you have been dreaming up for the day. We love a good event on our stunning rooftop space, and can cater anything from easy afternoon cocktails to canapé functions, product launches to long lunches. The team here at Taylor s will look after you and your event down to the very last detail! You may opt for roving canapé service to entertain your guests, or maybe a selection of our specially designed grazing boards for that added visual appeal! Beverages are just as easy with your choice of custom designed bar tabs. If you can think of it, we can design it! Booking policies differ between days, so please contact our events team further for more information on booking your event at Taylor s.

4 A PRIVATE OASIS An extension of Taylor s Rooftop, The Social Lounge is the perfect location for your next private event. Tucked away on level 2 of the hotel, this space caters to formal lunches and dinners, as well as large cocktail style celebrations. The Social Lounge is a desirable canvas for the beginnings of your next function. The space will be offered exclusively for you and your guests for the duration of your event. This gives you private use of the level, a private bar, full AV facilities, access to DJ decks and a range of tailor made packages to best suit your needs and desires. We offer cocktails on arrival as additional extras and you can arrange in house decorations, photo booths and entertainment for some added touches should this be of interest to you! After your event s conclusion, guests can make their way to the rooftop to continue celebrations should they wish. It s always a nice option! 6 T & C ' s To confirm a function booking the following is required: $500 is required as a deposit along with credit card authorisation for all bookings in our function lounge completed & signed Client Information Booking form agreeing to all terms & conditions. Should the above mentioned deposit and forms not be received no less than 14 days prior to the booking, the Republic Hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations held on the client s behalf. FINAL NUMBERS & MENU SELECTION: Menu selection is required 1 week prior to your event. Final number of guests must be confirmed 7 days prior to the function date. PAYMENT All accounts are to be settled in full at the close of the event. Full payments can be made prior to event but must be cleared into our account 2 days before your event. Invoicing is only permitted if a credit agreement has been established with the Republic Hotel. If payment is not supplied in full at the close of the event, the credit card authorisation that has been supplied will be charged. Payments can be made by EFT direct deposit or by credit card 7 days prior to the function. All credit card payments incur an additional 1.5% surcharge. All canapé bookings incur a 10% service fee CANCELLATION All cancellations are to be discussed with the events manager in writing no less than two weeks prior. If cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks before the function date, the client shall forfeit the full deposit. EXPECTED CONDUCT The client shall conduct the function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules of the Republic Hotel s policies and in accordance with all applicable laws. The management of the Republic Hotel reserves the right to remove patrons attending functions from the premises for unruly behaviour and/or showing signs of intoxication as determined by the management s discretion or by RSA regulations. INSURANCE/DAMAGES The client shall remain responsible at all times for any loss or damage to the property of the Hotel caused by the client, guests and invitees. We are extremely careful when looking after guests and their property, but unfortunately cannot take responsibility for the damage or loss of items belonging to guests before, during or after a function. ENTERTAINMENT & ADDITIONAL SERVICES Delivery of hired equipment supplied by the client to the hotel must be advised to the Functions Manager prior to the delivery and must be delivered to a designated area. The hotel will not be responsible for the cost, security, set-up or transportation of this equipment and will not be responsible for any damage or loss sustained. All goods must be collected at the conclusion of the event unless special arrangements have been made with the Function Manager. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL The Republic Hotel practises the responsible service of alcohol. Management supports the actions of staff in refusing to serve intoxicated, disorderly or underage patrons in accordance with this act. All food & beverages must be consumed on the premise. It is illegal to serve alcoholic beverages to any person under 18 years of age and the Republic Hotel reserves the right to request suitable identification. Management reserves the right to close the bar when it deems necessary UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES In the event of inability to comply with any of the provisions of this contract by virtue of any cessation or interruption, unavailability of food items, other unforeseen contingency or accident, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking or refund any deposit without notice. * Please be advised that Taylor's Rooftop does not allocate a seat for each specified guest. The rooftop is configured differently daily in accordance with other reservations, weather and events. Table and area allocations are at management s discretion. The team will reserve you and your guests an area with a combination of casual sitting and standing room they feel best suits your booking size and style. Your table has a maximum hold time of 3 hours. After this period it may be reallocated. You must arrive within half an hour of your confirmed start time or it will be given away. At least half of your confirmed guest numbers must arrive within 20 minutes of your allocated start time or management reserves the right to reduce your section size. Please ensure your guests are aware that capacity restrictions apply to all events. We will take into account all planned function attendees, however, we do suggest all guests arrive within half an hour of the booking commencement to avoid any disappointment regarding entry to the venue. Weekends especially, if we reach capacity, rooftop bookings are not given first preference for entry. Should specific requests need to be made, you must directly contact the team in the office and await confirmation. The restaurant can accommodate both small and large reservations as well as be hired privately for those special celebrations. Of course for something a little more exclusive, you may make use of our private dining space, as to create a whole new dining event for you and your guests. The level 2 private room may be booked for up to 30 guests seated, and is the perfect space to entertain. Whatever the occasion, Republic Dining are sure to impress.

9 PACKAGES For bookings of 10 or more, Republic Dining offers tailored set menus designed specifically for your event. Your event can be held in either our main dining room, or, our private dining space. You may select from the following limited a la carte packages: 2 courses at $75pp OR 3 courses at $85pp All options are inclusive of sides chosen by our executive chef to complement your selections. A limited a la carte offering allows a more intimate, unique experience for guests to enjoy. You may wish to add a selection of our beautifully selected international cheeses to your booking for an added touch, or opt to add a selection of house-made petit fours for your guests to enjoy with coffee and tea. Ask our functions team about our additional extras when booking your next formal event! Our sommelier will assist you in choosing a selection of our excellent wines to add those finishing touches.
