6 WHEN Giovanni Massarella and his brothers left Settefratti in central Italy over one hundred and fifty years ago to settle in the new world of America, they could not have imagined that their decision to stop off in England and then settle in South Yorkshire would result in the family, five generations later, still upholding their values and the love they had for food, and the land it came from.
