10 /CHARGES IN ADDITION TO FOOD AND BEVERAGE/ Equipment The majority of equipment needed (linens, tables, chairs, china, glassware, etc.) is provided by the venue. In cases of large and/or customized events, Restaurant Associates will handle all rentals required. The cost of equipment is determined by final selection. An approved local Restaurant Associates vendor will be utilized for all rental equipment. Tax Menu pricing does not include 10% tax. Food and beverage is subject to Virginia 6% sales tax and 4% Arlington County Meals tax. Labor Charges In addition to food and beverage, a labor charge will be added to cover the cost of necessary service staff. Labor costs will be included with all catering documentation for client approval. Staffing estimates are provided below based on event size & type. Event Supervisor $50 per hour One Event Supervisor per function Pantry Supervisor $45 per hour One Pantry Supervisor per function Butlers $35 per hour Receptions: One Butler per station, One additional Butler per every 30 guests, additional Butlers for Passed Hors D Oeuvres Buffet Dinners: Two Buffet Attendant/Runner per station, One additional Butler per every 25 guests, One additional Butler per Carving Station Plated Dinners: 1 butler per table Bartenders $40 per hour Bar service must be attended by TIPS certified personnel at all times 1 Bartender per 80 guests There is a four hour minimum for all staffing. All catering services are based on two hours for set up, the time to service the event and one hour for break down, unless otherwise noted. Staffing and labor charges are for administration of the function, and are not purported to be a tip or gratuity; this will not be distributed as a tip or gratuity to the employees who provided service to the guests. Cancellation Policies: All catering orders should be confirmed at least 7 business days prior to the event. Events cancelled after this time will be subject to a 100% food and beverage charges. If it is less than 48 hours we will not charge you the service or labor fees. Last minute orders made in less than 48 hours if cancelled will be responsible for all food and beverage charges. If these menus do not meet your requirements, we are happy to customize catering to suit your needs.
