1 WALLER NEWS DECEMBER 2018 SANTA S WATCHING! FROM THE PRINCIPAL ~ HOLIDAY CONCERTS A te from Miss Flygare; Our Holiday Concert for First and Second Grade will be held on Tuesday, December 11 th. First Grade will perform at 6:30 and Second Grade at 7:15 on the evening of December 11 th. Please help with this schedule by allowing the First Grade students and parents to exit quickly, so the Second Grade audience will be able to find their seats for the 7:15 performance. We are asking the first grade parents to bring their children to the Cafeteria at 6:15. This will be enough time to line up and be ready to begin our program at 6:30. Second grade parents will please bring their children to the Cafeteria at 7:00. The first grade performance will be completed by then and you will be able to find your seats for the 7:15 performance. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing everyone on the 11 th.

2 CHRISTMAS BREAK Classes will not be in session from December 24 th January 1 st for the Christmas break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 2, DROP OFF Our Gardner Ave. Drop Off area has been redone to make it easier to drop students off during the whole school year. For Everyone s Safety, please Do t Drive into the Waller Parking Lot when the cones are up! COLD WEATHER APPAREL Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately during the coming months. Students will be going out for recess on most days. Snow pants and boots are required for ALL students to go off the black top at recess time. WEATHER WATCH Skylert is active once again this school year for any school closings that may occur. There are TV and radio stations that will also carry the school closures due to inclement weather. PTO MEETING There will not be a PTO meeting in December. The next meeting will be on January 15 th, May your Holiday Season be filled with Family, Friends, and cherished memories! Happy Holidays!
