After a couple of months, is back and ready for some new players. Once again, I would like to thank the volunteers who make it possible to have bingo every week at our Moose. Bonnie, Bev, Margo, Sue, Robin, Mary, Jenny and Les, without you I couldn t do it. Especially Bonnie who has been a volunteer almost every Wednesday for over 30 years. Also, a thanks to the regular players. Some who have been playing at our lodge for many years. Our profits are used for many charitable organizations. We also collect food for the Woodstock Food Pantry every week. The current Crossfire jackpot is over $ Chairman, Peg Plimmer moose knots news Spring has finally arrived! What a great feeling to know that after what seemed like an eternity of ice covered outdoors and forever running humidifiers we can once again open our windows and enjoy the feeling of a warm breeze. This may not be the time many are thinking of knit or crochet items but let us tell you that our group has been hard at work creating great items that will be useful for not only this time of year but for the coming summer time as well. Many of you may have seen our raffle baskets that included the sparkling scrubby s (perfect for bar ware & glassware) and our hanging kitchen towel. We are busy making more of these and much more! What a great idea for those who like to barbeque... to have a hanging towel right there to clean up. Our dish scrubby s and pot scrubby s are indispensable plus they can be washed easily to prevent the buildup of bacteria and used over and over. All cotton face scrubby s are the perfect substitute for having to buy repetitive packages of cotton only to be thrown out, these too can be put in the washer & dryer... plus they are made here in the USA. We will be including many We urge all our members to visit at least weekly, for the latest news on Mooseheart, Moosehaven, Moose Charities plus updates on fraternal activities, sporting events and other breaking news from around the Moose fraternity!
