28 MISCELLANEOUS MENU AND WINE SELECTION The hotel must be informed of your final menu and wine selection no later than 10 days prior to the event. CORKAGE CHARGE The following corkage charges apply per 75cl bottle for beverages brought by guests: Wine: CHF 40. / Champagne: CHF 50. GUARANTEED NUMBER OF GUESTS The number of guests confirmed with us 3 working days prior to the event, will be the number charged on the invoice. CANCELLATION TERMS By cancelling a reservation of event space, the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern must be in writing notified by the organizer. Less than 30 participants: No charges in the case of cancellation of banquets with less than 30 persons if the written cancellation reaches Hotel Schweizerhof Bern at the latest 31 working days before the date of the event. The organizer will be billed in the case of cancellation from 30 working days before the date of the event as follows: Cancellation working days in advance: 50% of the total amount of contracted goods and services Cancellation working days in advance: 75% of the total amount of contracted goods and services Cancellation 0 10 working days in advance: 100% of the total amount of contracted goods and services From 30 participants onwards: No charges in the case of cancellation of banquets with over 30 persons if the written cancellation reaches Hotel Schweizerhof Bern at the latest 42 working days before the date of the event. The organizer will be billed in the case of cancellation from 41 working days before the date of the event as follows: Cancellation working days in advance: 50% of the total amount of contracted goods and services Cancellation working days in advance: 75% of the total amount of contracted goods and services Cancellation 0-10 working days in advance: 100% of the total amount of contracted goods and services Pre-rendered services of the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern are to be paid in any case. The hotel reserves the right to determine individual contract cancellation conditions. ROOM ALLOCATION The hotel reserves the right to switch function rooms for meetings and events at a short notice, as long as the client requirements and interests are met and these changes are acceptable by the client; this applies especially when the initial number of participants changes in the run-up to the event. TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT Careless handling and/or unorderly return of technical equipment organised by the hotel and/or third parties, are liability of the client.
