2 Thank you for considering Taverna for your wedding. Our venue is ideal for intimate weddings of up to 70 people with views to the ocean from almost every seat. Located close to the Coolangatta Airport and an array of holiday accommodation and resorts, Taverna is an ideal location for your wedding. We are also in close proximity to the Kingscliff Beach Hotel which means your guests can party into the night. Taverna offers a selection of seasonal wedding menu options and drink packages that will help make your wedding day perfect. Our Head Chef and Bar Manager can help tailor our kits to accommodate any dietary requirements or in some circumstances, specific needs. All menus are served banquet style to ensure that your guests enjoy the food the way it was intended. Taverna is now available for exclusive use for weddings from Friday to Sunday, April through to the end of September. Due to our commitment to our restaurant clientele Taverna will only be available for exclusive use From Monday to Thursdays at all other times. Room hire for Friday, Saturday and Sunday s (April to October) is $8000 with a $9000 minimum spend on food and beverage. Otherwise the room hire, Monday to Wednesday is $2500 with a $4000 minimum spend on food and beverage, or Thursday is $2500 with a $6000 minimum spend on food and beverage. Please ask for a copy of our full T&C s. Your room hire includes exclusive use of the venue from 2pm for 8 hours, all staffing, table-ware and set-up of our tables and chairs. A small service fee of 5% is applied to your food & beverage bill for our team of professional staff that will look after you and your guests on the day. Please note that your minimum spend includes your service charge. Please see our wedding manager for further information on this. T&C s Taverna is open from 2pm until 10pm for weddings. Final numbers and payment are due 10 days prior to your event. To confirm your booking, we require full payment for the room hire fee. No live bands are permitted at Taverna although solo acoustic artists are accepted. Access for suppliers will be granted from 10am on the day of your wedding and all styling and props must be removed from Taverna on the night of your wedding.
