We understand the importance of your wedding, so we limit ourselves to 10 weddings a season, ensuring we give each wedding the time and support required to get every detail just perfect! Included in this kit is information about our venue, the surrounding Russell area and what we can offer to help create your dream day. If you would like to come and visit Omata Estate vineyard, we offer viewing days any day of the week before 11am or after 4pm. Please arrange a time before coming to visit. 3 Destination Russell; Small, boutique, romantic Russell, new zealand Unique Russell is situated in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Russell is a small historical township approximately 3.5 hours north of Auckland. Russell, formerly known as Kororāreka, was the first permanent European settlement in New Zealand, and still very much holds a quaint historical feel to this very day. Russell is set right in the heart of the Bay of Islands, giving you access to 144 islands, right at your door step. Use the ocean backdrop for photos, or sneak away to one of the many pristine islands and beaches for a romantic honeymoon getaway. 6 Your day, your choice prices Here at Omata Estate we do not offer generic wedding packages, instead we offer event management services to help create and plan for you a bespoke event personally crafted along the way. Our venue can accommodate small intimate weddings of up to 50 people. For larger groups up to 120 people hiring a marquee will be necessary. Our venue operates seasonally so please have a look at guide prices below. All rates include GST. Omata Estate off-peak season October & November* Omata Estate peak season December through May* Venue Hire (to be deducted from minimum spend) Minimum Spend Deposit required (upon date confirmation) $2,500 $6,000 $1,500 $4,500 $9,000 $2,500 Ceremony only* $4,500 Running bar tab required. $2,500 *Please note unfortunately we have the following block out dates in which we are unable accommodate weddings & functions: Good Friday, Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day and the 1 st week of January. 7 1. minimum spend Your minimum spend is the base amount in which you will need to spend with Omata Estate for your event. Your venue hire, wine choices, other beverage options, corkage s, grazing tables and any other catering options from Omata Estate will all be deducted from your agreed minimum spend amount. 2. venue hire Inclusions Additional Charges Event management services Two bar staff Set up, pack down & clean up Exclusive use of Omata Estate Photo opportunities in the vines and surrounding area A scheduled rehearsal Wine barrel for signing table Full cutlery, crockery & glassware sets for up to 100 people Bridal hamper (for up to six people) with one bottle of Omata Estate Brut included. 8 3. wine options Pre-ordering wine, will give you the opportunity to buy wine at a discounted price. The amount you spend on wine will be directly deducted from your minimum spend. Any left over wine can be taken home after the event. 9 5. grazing tables Beautifully displayed feasts! Grazing tables are a great way to entertain guests and keep their hunger at bay while you are off getting photos. Grazing tables can be set up ready for postceremony and pre-dinner. Grazing tables are visibly appealing, and will be sure to be a talking point with your guests. Cost per head $8-$25 per head depending on requirements. An array of local cheeses, meats, seafood items, antipasto selection, artisan crackers, fresh bakery breads, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, dried fruits, nuts & a selection of other tasty morsels. Our pizza dough is handmade, hand-rolled and we like them thin and crispy! We have a variety of flavours to choose from.
