1 Highlights: Highlights concerning Berries and small fruit 11/Apr/2018 A recall and a RASFF alert have been released regarding goji berries from China contaminated with nicotine. The goji berries were distributed to the following 13 countries; Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Nicotine in goji berries Highlights concerning Seafood 11/Apr/2018 In the first quarter of 2018 the FDA in the US refuses shrimp US has refused 36 entry lines of shrimp due imports due to Salmonella and antibi- to the presence of Salmonella, with virtually all of them originating from India. As well as otics problems with Salmonella, 5 entry lines were refused due to the presence of banned antibiotics, this time for shrimp originating from China.
