Tahini products linked to Salmonella outbreak Highlights concerning Meat and meat products (excluding poultry) Date Issue Summary 04/Dec/2018 The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain in Belgium has issued several Salmonella outbreak linked to meat products recalls for prepared meat products following a possible link to a Salmonella outbreak. It is believed the products contain contaminated raw meat imported into Belgium from the Netherlands. 04/Dec/2018 Following on from the HorizonScan highlight UPDATE: Salmonella dated 05/10/2018 regarding a 16 state Salmonella outbreak possibly linked to raw minced beef produced by JBS Tolleson Inc, the issue continues to grow.
