1 Highlights: Highlights concerning Oils and fats 03/Jan/2018 A RASFF report has been released for the Sudan dye in palm presence of Sudan 4 (38 µg/kg - ppb) in oil palm oil from Ghana. The contaminated oil has been distributed to the following 15 countries; Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Ukraine. The presence of Sudan dyes in palm oil is an ongoing issue.
