1 Highlights: Highlights concerning Foods for infants and young children 11/Jul/2018 Concerns have been raised by parents over Aptamil baby formula recipe change changes made to the recipe of Aptamil baby milk formulas. Hundreds of complaints raises concerns have been made on social media that the revised formula milk is making babies sick. Danone is looking into the reports and has carried out extensive quality and safety checks, including clinical trials, product testing and product experience tests on the products but so far all results have suggested the product is safe. Investigations are ongoing to pinpoint the source of the outbreak, but at the moment it is suggested that dates from Morocco may be the cause. Highlights concerning Feedstuff 12/Jul/2018 The Cornucopia Institute has released a Fraudulent organic review into the import of fraudulent organic feed imports into feed into the USA, suggesting that current USA US enforcement practices leave the country's organic sector vulnerable to fraudulent imports of feed grains.
