2 Events at Stokehouse Q Stokehouse Q offers a variety of event spaces to suit any occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us to check availability on a certain date or arrange a site visit. MEZZANINE and PALM ROOM The Mezzanine space has a unique ambience with sweeping views and a modern interior, catering for up to 60 seated and 85 standing. The Palm Room offers Brisbane s best outdoor dining experience (without being fully exposed to the elements) available open air or fully enclosed, catering for up to 50 seated and 85 standing. Both spaces are ideal for a range of events, including product launches, private dinners, corporate functions, intimate weddings and birthday celebrations. STOKE BAR From the large Stoke Bar deck you can host a range of events from corporate drinks to engagement parties, birthdays or Christmas functions. Our extensive wine list and range of beverages, as well as our bar food menu, will add an impressive element to your event. Reserve a space on the deck for a small casual gathering, or book Stoke Bar exclusively for cocktail events of up to 150. STOKEHOUSE EXCLUSIVE The architecturally impressive, Stokehouse Q can be made exclusively yours for both sit-down and cocktail-style affairs. The space caters for up to 140 seated on the ground level and up to 450 standing. With full use of all dining and bar areas alongside unsurpassed views of Brisbane, your event is sure to hit the mark. RESTAURANT GROUP BOOKINGS For parties of 8-20 guests we offer a chef s choice menu in the restaurant. The chef s choice menu has been specifically designed to include the most popular choices from our à la carte menu, and offers guests 4 choices for each course (entrée, main and dessert). 6 OPTIONAL EXTRAS FOR BEVERAGE PACKAGES Cocktails on arrival Choice of two $20 per person for first hour* Aperol Spritz Mojito Espresso Martini Frosé Bespoke Cocktail POA Stokehouse Q offers a bespoke cocktail option for each function. Our in-house mixologist will create a unique cocktail, specifically designed for your function balanced in flavour, colour and texture. *Cocktail supply is capped depending on final numbers BEVERAGES ON CONSUMPTION Stokehouse Q also offers beverages on consumption for all functions, with the option to place a limit on the beverage tab. Clients are asked to select one sparkling wine, two white wines, two red wines and three bottled beers from the Stokehouse Q wine list that will be offered for the duration of the function. Selection and ordering is to be confirmed at least 7 business days prior to the function date. Any changes after this confirmation are subject to availability and the approval of the sommelier. Please note wines are subject to change. If your first choice is unavailable we will provide an alternative for your consideration. We also offer beverages charged on consumption basis; our wine and cocktail list is available on request. Extra charges may apply if additional glassware is required. Basic spirits applies to the house spirits which may be subject to change without notice.
7 TERMS & CONDITIONS BOOKING CONFIRMATION Stokehouse Q Terms and Conditions form must be completed, signed and returned to us with the specified deposit to ensure your booking is confirmed. A tentative reservation can be held for 7 days awaiting a deposit. If the deposit is not received within the timeframe arranged, the space may be released to other parties. DEPOSIT A deposit of $2000 (for Mezzanine), $3000 (for Palm Room), $4000 (for Stoke Bar or Stokehouse Q exclusives) must be given at the time of confirmation. If the deposit is not received by the due date, the booking will be cancelled. MINIMUM SPEND Payment policy requires that the outstanding balance is to be settled on the day of your function. If the client wishes to prepay any amount via direct deposit, the funds must be received into Stokehouse Q bank account 2 working days prior to the function date to be accepted. Stokehouse Q does not offer account facilities. FINAL NUMBERS/PAYMENT Guaranteed numbers are required 3 working days prior to your function. The charges will apply to guaranteed minimum numbers, or the final head count, whichever is greater. All accounts need to be settled at the conclusion of the event. Please note that a 1.1% surcharge will be applied to all credit card payments. This is not refundable in the event of a cancellation. SERVICE FEE/PUBLIC HOLIDAYS For all functions a discretionary 8% service charge is added to the final bill as a gratuity for the staff. This is inclusive of a 1.1% credit card surcharge. The credit card surcharge still applies if the gratuity is with-held. The service charge is not included in the minimum spend. An additional 15% surcharge will apply to the account total for all functions held on public holidays. CHILDRENS MEALS Children s meals are $50.00 per child, which is inclusive of a children main course, dessert and unlimited soft drink or fruit juice. PRICES All prices include GST. CANCELLATIONS All cancellations are to be made in writing. In the event of a cancellation, postponement or transfer of the event date, you must advise your event coordinator in writing 30 days or more before the function date, or 100% of the deposit will be retained. DAMAGES The client is financially liable for any damage to restaurant property, fixtures or fittings whether sustained by their own actions, or through the actions of their guests, contractors or sub-contractors. Nothing is to be nailed, screwed or stapled to the walls, doors, or other surfaces which are part of the restaurant. INSURANCE/PUBLIC LIABILITY Stokehouse Q accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise, equipment or personal articles left in the venue prior to, during or after a function. FURNITURE REMOVAL Should the removal of Stokehouse Q restaurant furniture be required, it will be at the cost of the client. FOOD/BEVERAGES Stokehouse Q does not permit food or beverages to be brought onto the premises (wedding cakes excluded - $5.00 per person cutting and serving fee applies). DECORATIONS Stokehouse Q does not allow sparklers where the flame is exposed. The host of the event will be liable for the full cost of the fire department call out fee and any damages incurred as a result of use of these items. Stokehouse Q does not allow confetti to be placed on tables or released in the venue. Balloons, flowers and lighting is permitted, however collection of these items must be arranged with the events coordinator. MUSIC Stokehouse Q retains complete discretion of music and noise levels at all times to vary or cease entertainment levels that do not comply with applicable law or which may cause Stokehouse Q to breach the lease agreement. It is for this reason that we do not allow drums in the venue nor live band performance after 10.30pm (DJ s may play through our sound system until midnight). DURATION Standard duration for functions is 4 hours for lunch and 5 hours for an evening function. Guests will be required to vacate the premises within 30 minutes after the conclusion of the service. All lunch bookings can commence from 12pm onwards and all guests must vacate the event space by 4pm. All dinner functions can commence from 6pm onwards and must conclude no later than 11:30pm. Access to the venue for set up is 2 hours prior to the function start time. Please note, the space will be ready at the confirmed start time, not the access time. DELIVERY/COLLECTION OF GOODS Stokehouse Q will only accept delivery of goods 2 hours prior to the function commence time, and all goods must be collected on the same day unless prior arrangements have been made. REPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL Stokehouse Q is committed to the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Intoxicated guests will not be served. It is a requirement of law that intoxicated persons are removed from licensed premises. We reserve the right to cease service of alcoholic beverages if consumption is deemed excessive.
