11 A little more info Should you be interested in booking De Oudekraal Wedding Venue for your big day, please inform us, and we will you our very basic contract, which you can sign and /fax back to us. Banking details appears in the contract. We require a 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit of R when booking De Oudekraal for any specific date, unless other arrangements are made in advance. Please be sure to send us proof of payment to secure your date. Proof of payment can be send via info@deoudekraalvenue.co.za or sms Please use your function date as reference. Please note that we work on a strictly first-come, first-serve basis thus, first proof of deposit gets the date! Other outstanding payments: Any outstanding payments (such as the other 50% venue fee, hiring of the Old Farmhouse and catering) must be made on or before 14 days prior to your function/wedding date. By this date, you must please confirm your menu as well as confirm your amount of guests. You will then receive an invoice with the outstanding amount which can be made immediately in order for us to proceed with your catering. Please note after this date, you will not be able to either change your menu or lessen your attendees, and you will be charged for the confirmed amount of attendees. Wine: If you use wine from our list, you will be charged for the full amount ordered, and unopened bottles can be collected after function. Should you bring in your own wine, you will be charged cork fee only for the amount of bottles opened. (Cork fee are paid after the function) Example of our deli chairs left. Confetti must be nature friendly please no paper! Our tables measurements 2.4m long, 1.2m width and standard height (75cm). Please note -We do not allow ANY nails into any trees, our venue or our church. It is compulsory to use our catering and bar services, with the exception of dessert. (We allow client to supply own dessert, should she wish to do so) Closing time: Bar closes 2am sharp, but venue has no doors, which means you can party until the sun comes up Music must please be turned down at 2am. Viewings: We are available for viewings by appointment only Weekdays 09:00-17:00 and Saturdays 09:00-13:00. Please note that we are closed on Sundays.
