It s no surprise really. We enjoy them almost as much as you do, and it shows. This year is no different, with fizz on arrival, award winning food (no mass market produce here!) and a top class DJ to take you into the early hours (late bar until 1am). Arrival 7.00pm Dinner served at 7:30pm Lightly spiced parsnip and apple veloute with curried oil, artisan roll and butter (v) Goats cheese and cranberry terrine with hazelnut dressing (v) Tian of salmon and gravalax with pickled cucumber ribbons Butter basted roasted turkey dinner with traditional accompaniments Roasted butternut squash, chestnut mushroom and ricotta strudel served served with port sauce (v) DESSERTS Mulled berry pavlova with white chocolate sauce Vanilla pannacotta with spiced apple compote and stem ginger short bread Traditional Christmas pudding with rich brandy sauce PER PERSON DRINKS PACKAGES Bottle of house wine Bucket of beer (5 bottles) Other offers available please ask the bar staff on the night of your function. And all accompanied by the big man himself (with presents for the kids - of course). Sound good? At the Waterside the food is prepared by class-leading chefs and an award-winning catering team. Not a claim that can be made by any other hotel in the area. Roasted red pepper and tomato soup topped with balsamic syrup, bread roll and butter (v) Goats cheese and cranberry terrine with hazelnut dressing (v) Butter basted turkey Honey glazed gammon All served with crisp roast potatoes, glazed root vegetables, sprouts with sage and chestnuts, pigs in blankets and rich gravy Roasted butternut squash, chestnut mushroom and ricotta strudel served served with port sauce (v) CHILDREN S Turkey goujons or Cheese and tomato pizza served with chips and baked beans Half portion of an adult course from above. 4 Monday 25 th December CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH Christmas day is about family and friends. So let s start by making your day exactly how you want it to be. Looking for a family atmosphere, with children s entertainers, a disco and great food - with a visit from the big man himself? Then join us for our first sitting in the Waterside Suite. A wonderful day that the whole family will never forget. If you are looking for a more relaxed, dare we say, grown up affair, then join us for late lunch in the restaurant. We ll hand you a glass of fizz on arrival, serve you with delicious food and you can just relax. Roasted butternut squash and sage veloute, artisan roll and butter (v) Poached salmon and king prawn cocktail with cucumber tartar, pickled red onions and rye crisp Wild mushroom pate with melba toast and dressed leaves (v) Butter basted turkey with sausage meat, chestnut and cranberry stuffing, glazed pigs in blankets and good old fashioned gravy Roasted hake served with crab cake, braised fennel and white wine veloute Parsnip and Jerusalem artichoke gratin topped with hazel nut crumb (v) All the above dishes are accompanied by roast potatoes, glazed root vegetables, saute sprouts with chestnut and sage, cranberry sauce DESSERT Baileys cheesecake with chocolate curls and hazelnut praline Clementine and rum trifle, topped with pistachio crumb Flambeed Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and candied pecans Followed by tea, coffee and mints ADULTS CHILDREN (UNDER 12)

Yes, this is going to be a New Years Eve to remember. The decor, the five course dinner, the entertainment - everything through to the 2am carriages will be perfect. So dress to impress and start the New Year in Style. ON ARRIVAL Prosecco and canapés Ham hock croquette with daikon remoulade and crispy salad Smoked mackeral pate with ciabatta crostini and dressed leaves Goats cheese beignets with honeyed figs, beets and hazelnut dressing (v) SOUP COURSE Cappuccino of wild mushrooms topped with tarragon foam and porcini powder (v) Duo of lamb - slow roasted shoulder and marinated rump with spiced beets, mini potato fondants, pine kernel and mint jus Chestnut, sage and onion cannelloni with hollandaise sauce (v) DESSERT White chocolate mousse with flambeed passion fruit and florentines Followed by tea, coffee and mints PER PERSON

Where applicable, tables under 10 may be shared with other smaller parties in the function suite. General 1. The hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable behaviour and levels of noise from guests or representatives. The organiser is responsible for the behaviour of their group and should take all steps necessary for corrective action should that be required by the hotel. 2. Please note the dress code for all events is smart casual unless otherwise stated. 3. Details are correct at the time of going to print and may be subject to alteration without prior notice. 4. The minimum age for persons attending functions is 18, except by prior notification. 5. All accommodation bookings must be paid in full and are non-transferable or refundable in the event of a calculation other than for a medical reason where proof of incapacity may be required. For New Years Eve full payment is required at time of booking. 6. We are unable to offer baby sitting or child minding services for any event. 7. Guests and visitors are not permitted to join any event for entertainment only. 8. The hotel does not accept any liability in respect of loss or damage to articles brought into the hotel or car park.
