2 Paddock Corner Restaurant Saturday Menu to include starter and main course. STARTERS Soup of the Day Please see waiting staff for today s dish. Garlic Bread Slices of garlic bread served by itself, with cheese or cheese and bacon. Vegetable Spring Rolls Crisp spring rolls filled with oriental vegetables and served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce. Plaice Goujons Goujons of plaice coated in breadcrumbs and served with a lemon mayonnaise. BBQ Pork Ribs Sticky pork ribs served with a blue cheese sauce. (Supplement 3.00) Duck Spring Rolls Shredded duck coated in hoi sin, wrapped in a Chinese pancake and cooked until golden, served with a sweet and sour sauce. (Supplement 3.00)
3 MAIN COURSES Chilli Con Carne Classic minced beef and kidney bean chilli served with rice and a crisp tortilla. 6oz Burger A 6oz beef burger topped with tomato, onion and lettuce, served with chips. (Add cheese and bacon for an extra 1.00) Battered Cod Fillet Crisp battered cod served with tarter sauce, chips, mushy peas and lemon. Vegetable Lasagne A medley of vegetables layered between sheets of lasagne, topped with creamy cheese sauce and served with mixed salad and chips. Sausage and Mash A Cumberland ring served with mashed potato, vegetables of the day and onion gravy. (Supplement 4.00) 8oz Rump Steak English steak cooked to your liking, served with a choice of chips or jacket potato and peas or mixed salad. Pierre Javert Medium Dry White A hint of elderflower and apples on the nose, this is more medium in character on the palate, with plenty of sweet apple flavours on the finish. A great white for drinking with any red meat dish. Pinot Grigio delle Venezie Zingy and fresh with tongue-tingling acidity. ROSÉ WINE E and J Gallo Sierre Valley White Zinfadel Fragrant floral notes and orange blossoms with ripe berry flavours and a crisp finish. RED WINES Pierre Javert Red A delicious easy drinking red from the Mediterranean. Plenty of soft berry fruits with a hint of strawberry, redcurrants and blackcurrants.
