2 HISTORY The Red Lion at Whittlesford Bridge is a modern day coaching inn dating back to the 13th Century. Having undergone extensive renovation, the hotel now boasts a 21st Century glass-roofed atrium and business centre which offers professional conference and meeting facilities for up to 200 delegates. With 91 bedrooms* this stunning newly-built business centre is an original and bespoke venue, perfect for your next meeting, away day, canapé reception or training event. We serve contemporary British food sourced locally where possible and cooked simply and beautifully by our expert chefs. We have four meeting rooms and plenty of spaces throughout for breakout sessions. All meeting rooms are located on the ground floor with natural daylight; Wi-Fi; modern AV equipment and direct access to the lawns and terrace. We re ideally located on the A505 just a mile from Junction 10 of the M11 with good access to the A14 and A11. We offer complimentary car parking and for those arriving by train we are situated adjacent to Whittlesford Parkway mainline station on the Cambridge - London Liverpool Street line. *See stay page

We have four meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual technology and Wi-Fi. We have plenty of nooks and crannies in the old bar, perfect for breakout sessions and team work. We can tailor your event to match the style of your meeting. From offering smoothies and sweets for a creative session to a formal lunch for your board directors. Alternatively you may prefer to choose our all inclusive day delegate package. 5 OUR SPACES THE GARDEN ROOM The Garden Room is the largest space at the Red Lion at Whittlesford Bridge with lots of natural daylight and offers direct access to the terrace and lawn which delegates may also use. There are no pillars or posts in this room making this versatile space perfect for even the largest presentation or training event. The Garden Room also features a complimentary guest larder that delegates can raid throughout the day with a cappuccino machine and fully stocked fridges with soft drinks and other break-time treats. Throughout the day, our meeting co-ordinator will be on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly.

7 OUR SPACES THE ATRIUM Our sunny, glass-roofed Atrium with high ceilings is perfect for boardroom meetings and presentation days with views of the terrace and lawns. It also features our large monks table lovingly crafted from an original 13th century oak beam. This table can comfortably seat 20 for private dining or board meetings.

This panelled room with feature fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere especially for evening dining. The Badar suite is modern and light, perfect for intimate meetings, interviews or for use as a syndicate room. 11 THE GUEST LARDER For meetings in the Garden Room, delegates can enjoy our complimentary Guest Larder. This is available to you all day throughout your meeting. 16 PRIVATE FUNCTION MENUS Dinner At the Red Lion at Whittlesford Bridge our menus are seasonal as we use local suppliers and British produce wherever possible. Our private dining menus start from per person for three courses. The following menu is a seasonal sample. Please ask our events coordinator for a full selection of menus. Starters Local spinach, eves cheese and sage fritters with toasted pine nuts Baby shrimp and crayfish salad with butter lettuce, lime juice, ginger and red onion Main Course East Anglian medallions of pork on apple and parsnip puree Pan-fried Cornish sea bass fillet with rosemary and lemon sauce Three chargrilled lamb loin chops served with creamy mashed potato, onion gravy and mint jelly Dessert Rhubarb and ginger cheesecake with homemade lemon curd Cambridge burnt cream with homemade Red Lion shortbread Add a serving of tea and coffee with homemade Red Lion shortbread for just 2.95 per person

17 STAY At the Red Lion at Whittlesford Bridge our individually designed bedrooms have free Wi-Fi, power showers, Hypnos beds, down and feather bedding, flat-screen TVs and ipod docking stations. All rooms are unique and vary in size from a cosy single through to an impressive feature suite complete with in-room bathtub. We are proud to offer 91 bedrooms*. Eighteen boutique style bedrooms at the Red Lion at Whittlesford Bridge and 73 bedrooms just 100 yards away at our sister property, Holiday Inn Express Cambridge Duxford.
