2 We re living the dream having our very own cinema, but you can have part of the dream too, with our range of hiring packages. So whether it s that special party, celebration or works do, why not enjoy the glamour of the big screen? We are available for private hire, business use, entertainment and celebrations. With 50 seats in the auditorium and large bar area, we can offer a range of flexible hire packages with or without in-house hospitality. Our technical team will ensure your event runs smoothly and we can create menus for all tastes and budgets. Wirksworth provides a wide range of accommodation, from quirky rental cottages to bijou bed and breakfast, all within walking distance from The Northern Light

3 Show me the money! Running a cinema doesn t come cheap but we ve tried to keep our prices low! The costs include the film if available on BluRay or DVD and the use of all our facilities, including the bar, which will be open for drinks and snacks. It also includes out staff who will be on-hand for technical assistance, safety management and to generally make sure you have a good time. Plus, don t forget, all members receive up to a 10% discount and all prices include VAT at std rate. Handy for corporate hires. Popcorn only goes so far... that s why we offer a range of tasty Mediterranean inspired food, served on platters, plates and in bowls - all themed to bring you the a little taste of sunshine here in the Derbyshire Dales. Please let us know at the time of ordering if you have any dietary requirements and rest assured, vegetarian and vegan options are available for all menu options. Now the following are just suggestions - we re happy to cook, bake, fry, grill or boil at your request to cater for all tastes and all budgets. We like a challenge

6 We want the finest wines available to humanity. We want them here and we want them now... Our bar serves a wide range of world beers, spirits and soft drinks and we have a short but select offering of wines always on offer. But if you want something special, that glass of bubbly on arrival perhaps, or a range of cocktails to tempt your guests, we ll be happy to arrange. We also offer pre-purchased wine discounts, to make your budget stretch just that little bit further. 7 Extras Hiring a cinema is special enough but you don t have to stop there! Here s a few suggested extras to make the day even more memorable. Room Decorations Feel free to decorate the room yourself at no charge, or if you d like us to do it for you we re a dab hand at balloons and streamers! Home Movies & Slide-shows Why not screen your own short film before the main event or a photo slide show? Prices start at just 15 to arrange - just ask for compatibility details. Other Entertainment We can arrange magicians, musicians, singers, or other forms of entertainment on request. Just ask! FULLY LICENSED FULLY ACCESSIBLE

8 So what happens next? Once you ve agreed the date and time, we ll ask for a 50% DEPOSIT (of the hire fee only) to secure the date, with the balance due within three days of the hire. The deposit in non-refundable - we re sure you understand, as we could be missing out on another hire or a regular film night. Your film selection should be agreed three days beforehand if we are supplying the film, and if it s over 15 to purchase there may be an additional fee. Finally, we are a licensed premise, so we will still have to comply with all licensing laws - for the supply of alcohol and screening of films. So no Pulp Fiction parties for your 15 year old son... sorry. Then, when the day arrives, all we ask you to do is relax, sit back enjoy the party!

9 OUR GOOD POLICY North End is our favourite street in town. We live here, we work here, we tend to drink here too. That s why we ask all our customers to help us minimise any disturbance on the street and help us be good neighbours. So if you arrive by car, we ask you not to park on North End itself, as lots of our neighbours rely on on-street parking. There s plenty of parking elsewhere in town. If you smoke, we ask you to do so away from the cinema but also away from residential houses - there s a handy bench across the road at the top of Greenway Croft. Finally, when you leave, please do so quietly as some of our neighbours are elderly and may have retired to bed by the time you leave.
