2 BBQ School Corporate Event Thank you for your enquiry about hosting a BBQ School team cooking event. We d be delighted to talk to you about hosting your next event for your team. Bring your group together with a team-on-team competitive cook off where each team works together in a hands-on session to prepare and cook the best meal for the glory of being crowned best team of the day! We have prizes for best chef and team and we guarantee someone will go home with the glory of being BEST Chef it could be you! We host a range of engaging and team focused BBQ events for groups of 20+ where all attendees are a significant element to producing the finished product lunch or dinner! Participants will benefit from a range of team activities designed to engage them and ensure they have an afternoon full of fun, camaraderie and enjoy a delicious 3 course gourmet meal. The sessions are hosted by our professional chefs and can be held at your workplace, a BBQ School location or a third party venue. Our facilitation teams are led by some of the best and most engaging Chefs around who have been working in some of the best kitchens across the planet and we bring a professional and entertaining style to our presentation. Our food and menus have been exciting attendees at BBQ School classes for over 10 years, and are sure to have your team revved up for an event that will be the talk of the office long after the you ve dined on your great meal! Our team activities are focused on being fun and hands-on with a bit of cunning thrown in on the side. 4 Mystery Box Challenge The BBQ School Mystery Box Challenge is an interactive team building activity. Each team is given a box of ingredients and must create an entrée and main course from the selection. $135 per person Each team will have a chef assigned to them to help guide them in the menu planning and cooking techniques. Dessert will be completed as a group with bonus points awarded for enthusiasm and technique. Winners of the final challenge will be determined by a combination of speed of completion and flavour of final dishes! The winning team will be awarded with a BBQ prize pack. Your event is designed for groups of 20 + guests in teams of 10 or more. Larger groups are happily accommodated with additional teams and options to suit. This activity may includes the following below options: Example "Mystery Box contents: Chocolate / Eggs / Butter / Sugar / Eggs Flour / Balsamic / Strawberries Example Mystery Box contents: Resulting Dish Chocolate Molten Lava Pudding with Balsamic Strawberries. 6 Beer & BBQ Master Class This class is certainly for the beer connoisseur! Come and experience all there is to know about creating the perfect BBQ party matched to beer! All BBQ courses are matched to a select range of premium, flavour inspired craft beer! $145 per person We provide a 4 course Beer & BBQ Master Class where we talk beer, taste beer, cook with beer, match the beer to our creations and even get an insight into how to brew beer! You will enjoy a highly informative and hands on session whilst creating a gourmet Masterpiece with the ultimate beer appreciation! 7 Master BBQ Chef Challenge Want to know who the Master Chef is in your Group? This is our Ultimate BBQ Cooking Competition, in this experience your group is split into teams and will then compete against each other to create, cook and serve a premium BBQ Dinner Party menu! $165 per person Your event will be hosted by our professional MC who will coordinate all facets of the day! Your teams will work under the close tutelage of our professional chefs, each team will be given demonstrations and then set to work to create the gourmet BBQ dinner menu. Your team gains points for following the recipes and demonstration, fastest to serve, sabotage, and best team chant! Each course is scored by the MC, and the scores are tallied and added to the MasterChef score board, at the end the winning team will walk away with not only bragging rights but a Master BBQ Chef kit. To add a bit more competition to the day There is the BBQ MasterChef of the Day prize, for the stand out participant of the day who will be crowned as the BBQ MasterChef! who will walk away with an ultimate Prize pack and winner of the event! 8 BBQ School Food Olympics Food Olympics Additional $25pp In addition to our fun and interactive cooking classes, we also offer some great add on activities that will test your food knowledge and act as an ice breaker for your event. BBQ School Food Olympics is a fun but competitive activity. The group is broken up into teams and compete against each other in a range of daring races and taste test challenges. Teams will compete for menu clues and cooking/prep rewards that they can utilise in the next stage of games. Please select 4 games from the following options below to add to your event; 1. Cream Filled Balloon Race 3. Chilli Tasting 4. Grenadine Beer Race 5. What Ingredient is that? This is an old fashioned race, that often proves to be a bit messy. We fill balloons with cream and you race with the balloon between your legs trying not to let the balloon POP. The winning team returns first with their balloons intact! 2. Food Relay Like your average batten race, but with an interesting food twist. Work as a team to complete the food preparation the fastest of your first course. Show your strength by tasting a grade of chilli s! Not for the faint hearted! Just like the egg and spoon race, but with an interesting twist Beer! Test your food knowledge by using all your senses. 6. Brain Food Strain! Name the ingredients of food by being given the name of an ingredient and having to describe it to your team with a selection of words you cannot use in describing it? - Fun and a real brain teaser!

11 Typical Event Run Sheet Example Time 1:30pm 1:40pm 1:50pm 2:10pm 2:40pm 3:10pm 3:40pm Activity Guests arrive and enjoy appetisers and drinks together Welcome address to our fabulous teams for the day outline the event and going over the rules and activates for the session. All attendees will be briefed of what we will be cooking plus given all the tips and tricks on how to be that master BBQ Chef on the day! After a detailed demonstration, all Attendees will prepare their 1 st course which requires each team to work together to achieve their first creations for the day Entree! Attendees will enjoy their entrée component and share in each others creations! Attendees return to the cooking area where the Chefs demonstrate their highly prized dessert course. Each attendee will then be involved in the creation of this dish and need to work together to achieve their sweet creation. Attendees then return to their section for main course. The penultimate dish of the day! The Chefs demonstrate and work with each team to produce their range of main course dishes - all set to be served first and be on your way to be crowned the days BBQ Master! Attendees sit down to enjoy their Gourmet BBQ Feast and share in each others creative masterpieces! 4:00pm 4:30pm Teams will then cook and serve the final course of the day Dessert! A great wrap up for the day and the final piece in deciding who is the Master BBQ Chef of the day! Event is complete. We thank guests for their attendance. 12 Venues Here are BBQ School we have a selection of venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Hunter Valley. Each venue listed below attracts a $300 venue hire charge when booking. We also have a range of partner venues that we can operate from, anywhere in the country! If you have a preferred venue or location we will work with you to ensure your next event meets all objectives and provides a truly memorable experience for yourself, your team, and your clients! Please contact the team to discuss your requirements! Off site venues attract an additional $15pp charge to transport inventory to the venue. Additional BBQ and Room Hire costs may be incurred for specific requested venues. 13 Off Premise Requirements OFF PREMISES SESSION REQUIREMENTS This applies to all venues other than Centennial Park, Willoughby HQ and Beer Deluxe, Hawthorn. Appropriate fully covered outdoor area to undertake the activity Appropriate outdoor lighting for the activity Appropriate secure storage for BBQ s and other equipment (if delivered prior to event) Small amount of indoor secure storage area for dry goods and equipment on the day Small amount of fridge space for dairy products, perishables and vegetables on and for the day of the class (cleared after class) Preparation area / kitchen space for food preparation for classes, with access three hours prior to the event Trestle style tables for demonstrator s equipment and team preparation and serving etc during the lesson Three bins with bin liners available for use during the class Napkins, entrée, main and dessert plates and entrée, main and dessert cutlery available for the number of guests attending Water, wine and beer glasses for the number of guests attending (where applicable) Either covered outdoor or indoor dinning area, suitable for the number of guests, including tables, chairs and table linen. Venue staff to set table, plates, cutlery, glasses, napkins etc for attendees. Venue staff to also look after clearing and cleaning of plates, glasses and cutlery Available kitchen space with sink/dishwasher to clean BBQ School equipment after classes. 14 Booking Policy Making a Booking BBQ School accepts bookings by fax, and phone up to one week prior to the event. BBQ School accepts credit cards, direct deposit, cheques and Australian Post Money Orders. 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure function date and time. Unless indicated, all quoted prices are exclusive of GST All bookings are confirmed once payment has been made and funds cleared. A duplicate receipt will be sent to the purchaser, along with event details. BBQ School will send a reminder or phone call to the client to confirm a few days before the event and confirm final numbers with the client. Numbers confirmed 7 days prior to the event will be the minimum numbers charged for. Final payment is due 72 hours prior to the event. Payments are non-refundable. Cancelling or Postponing a Booking Cancellations, postponing or transferring a booking can be completed up to fourteen days before the event date. If cancellation is within this timeframe the 50% deposit payment will be forfeited. Please kindly note that after a deposit has been received regardless of the cancelation or postponement date, 10% of gross event quote total or $300 processing fee (whatever the greater) will be charged or retained for administration costs. Cancellations, postponing or transferring of a booking made after this time will result in loss of 50% deposit. Refunds will not be made in the case where numbers drop after confirmed numbers have been made 7 days prior to your event. BBQ School Cancelling or Postponing a Class In these rare cases, BBQ School will contact all clients affected at least 48 hours beforehand to offer a full refund or transfer of the booking to another date
