1 CONFERENCE SETTINGS WITH A TOUCH OF ROMANCE Our conference and seminar facilities are situated in the rooms of the former Convent of the Clares on the ground floor of our hotel. Breakfast and all other meals are served in our banquet rooms with historic flair. If the weather is fine, lunch and dinner will be arranged on our terrace overlooking the Danube. Our conference brochures provide a survey of the different rooms available and their sizes. Professional conference management and personal advice as well as suggestions concerning culinary highlights are also offered in detail. We will be pleased to make an individual offer tailored to suit your specific conference requirements. We would also like to welcome you to a personal meeting, in which you will be made familiar with our hotel and its amenities. Please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange an appointment. 4 CONFERENCE BEVERAGES We will be eager to provide cool beverages (mineral water, fruit juices) at a price of Euro 2,90 per bottle in your meeting room. COFFEE BREAKS In your conference breaks, we will provide everything your participants need to stay engaged throughout the day. A coffee machine for coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be at your disposal during all coffee breaks. 5 CATERING You will be spoilt with culinary delights in our award-winning restaurant. Choose from the varied possibilities of set meals. All courses arranged by our specialist catering team can be rearranged according to the individual wishes of our guests. For a meeting up to 15 persons you can also choose any of our delicious dishes à la carte. They will be charged according to our current price list. BREAKFAST A well-balanced breakfast will give you energy and good mood for the entire day. So, start your day with our rich breakfast buffet from 7.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. LUNCH DINNER For our half-board residents, we offer a 3-course lunch for Euro per person. As a first course, we kindly ask you to choose between either soup or starters from the set meal of your choice. In case your lunch break or the time before your departure will not leave enough time for a full meal, we recommend our delicious finger food (hot or cold). Please enjoy an aperitif in our convent yard before dinner. We recommend our Richard Löwenherz Brut (sparkling wine) with apricot nectar, elder-blossom syrup or orange juice. As a half-board resident, you can also take advantage of a 4-course lunch for Euro per person. Or why not choose a gala dinner or buffet (minimum of 30 guests) We will be pleased to send you our recommendations and suggestions. Our sommelier will like to help you with the selection of the able wine for your dinner. 9 ROOM RATES AND FACILITIES Our hotel is open from April 14 th, 2017 to October 15 th, 2017 and offers 39 rooms. ROOM RATES MAIN SEASON FROM MAY 19 TH OCTOBER 1 ST, 2017 single rooms / double rooms for single use double rooms / / apartment / junior suites suite Margareta In April/May and October we offer the rooms for low season rates. Room rates will depend upon the room s size and location. Rates are per room and night and include a rich breakfast buffet and VAT. Local tax is 1.60 per person. Depending on availability during the week, we will be eager to offer you our double rooms for single room prices. All of our rooms are equipped with bathroom or shower, cable TV, internet access/wifi, radio, telephone, safe and hair dryer. Bathrobes and towels for our outdoor swimming pool in the convent garden (May to September) are available. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Rooms are available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Should you arrive after 6 p.m., we kindly ask you to let us know in advance. On departure day, rooms are at your disposal until 11 a.m. You are welcome to pay your hotel bill either cash or with EC-card, VISA, Eurocard or American Express. If you wish to transfer the money, please transfer to the following band account: Raiffeisenbank Krems IBAN: AT / BIC: RLNWATWWKRE If your receipt is supposed to be addressed to your company in a particular way, we kindly ask you to inform us in written form together with your confirmation. This will guarantee a quick check-out. The Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions are applicable. ( Reservations can be cancelled up to one month before arrival / in the case of groups up to two months before arrival. No cancellation charges will apply in this case. We can only accept written cancellations. We recommend taking out a European Cancellation Insurance ( Please let us know at least two weeks before your arrival how your conference or seminar is going to be scheduled, when you will need the room in question and when you would like to have your coffee breaks and meals. Additionally you can choose a vegetarian main course for your vegetarians. We would also request the exact number of participants and their names 4 days prior to your arrival. 11 DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND PARKING OPTIONS BY CAR PARKING FROM VIENNA (WEST) Take the motorway A1 and exit at St. Pölten Ost follow the expressway S33/B37a and exit at Krems Mitte take the regional B3 to Dürnstein. Turn left before entering the tunnel, go through the Town Gate and take the first street left. FROM WIEN (CENTRE / NORTH) Take the motorway A22 and exit at Stockerau West follow the expressway S5 and exit at Krems Mitte - take the regional B3 to Dürnstein. Turn left before entering the tunnel, go through the Town Gate and take the first street left. FROM SALZBURG / LINZ Take the motorway A1 and exit at Melk - take the regional B 3a and go across the Danube - take the regional B3 to Dürnstein. Turn left before entering the tunnel, go through the Town Gate and take the first street left. In our two courtyards, hotel guests will find amply free parking space. Guests are permitted to drive through the pedestrian area to access the hotel. You can always use parking spaces in the front of the hotel. The gate leading to the courtyards is closed by night (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.). We would like to point out that the few parking spaces available in the town of Dürnstein belong to the residents of Dürnstein. For those who do not reside at a hotel, there are, however, two public car parks with plenty of parking space outside Dürnstein (a five minutes walk from our hotel). BY TRAIN/BY BUS For detailed train schedules, please see and bus schedules BY SHIP From the train station Krems we recommend of taking a taxi or a bus. Liners arrive exactly beneath the Monastery of Dürnstein. There is a little path leading from the Danube to our hotel (a three minutes walk) BY PLANE There are direct charter flights from all international airports to the airport of Wien-Schwechat.
