1 OUR CULINARY ART In 2015, the internationally experienced chef Peter Bogdanovic joined hotel director Gabriela Ganter s hotel team as head chef. Since then, thanks to Peter and his skilled team, there have been many positive developments in the kitchen and in the Mohren Restaurant. With renewed energy and motivation, a new culinary philosophy has been embraced in the Mohren Restaurant kitchen. The focus is on adopting modern and creative approaches in preparing regional and international dishes. As well, Gabriela Ganter and Peter Bogdanovic have conscientiously followed their aim to use fresh and locally grown produce and meat, fish, and poultry products from the area. The kitchen team works closely with selected local suppliers, visiting them regularly to discuss and optimally coordinate the restaurant s current culinary goals and ideas. We re delighted to announce that Peter will be participating in the final rounds of the international Chef of the Year 2017 competition. We re crossing our fingers! The fitting companion to the new culinary approach at the Mohren Restaurant is the wine list created by restaurant director Deniz Kosovali and the aspiring sommelier Steffen Genzel. It boasts a comprehensive selection of exceptional wines, especially those from winemakers in the Baden region of Germany, as well as rare wines from around the world. 12 WE TRAIN Our talented staff dressed in orange are apprentices in the hotel sector and trainees from the Hotelsschool Otto Bruckner in Kežmarok (SK). We, as a training workplace, are pleased to support the training for highly qualified personal in our sector together with our colleagues.
