8 Terms & Conditions Chapmans Peak Hotel reserves the right to amend its rates, policies, terms and conditions for bookings, without prior notice. Payment Any amount due to the Chapmans Peak Hotel will be payable as follows: Deposit: 50% of total amount to be paid to secure booking. Any bookings made between one and 30days prior to service requires full payment, unless otherwise authorized. Should the deposit/pre-payment not be received within the time-frame specified, Chapmans Peak Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation. All accounts must be settled by cash, EFT or major credit card. No cheques accepted. During periods of high demand we may require full pre-payment. Cancellation Policy 7 days or less: 100% cancellation fee will be charged. Between 8 & 14 days: 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Between 15 & 30 days: 25% cancellation fee will be charged. Please note that all cancellations are only effective once confirmed in writing by our reservation office. Please note that all refunds are subject to commission and/or bank charges. Late arrivals/early departures: no refunds will be given for meals or services not taken up. Liability The client is liable for any negligent damage caused in function rooms during functions. Whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure the safeguarding of your belongings, Chapmans Peak Hotel will not be liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever. Other The final rooming list should be in Chapmans Peak Hotel s possession 7days prior to arrival date. Number of delegates should be confirmed in writing 1 week prior to the conference. Should there be a change in numbers, the final number of delegates must be confirmed 48hrs prior to the conference, we will cater for that number and charge accordingly. Day conferences must end at 17h00 and evening functions at 23h00. If extra set up or breakdown is required, an additional fee will be charged. Additional charges may apply if the venue is not vacated by the nominated finish time. Please indicate whether any special or extra equipment is required. If there are any time constraints, vegetarians or disabled guests please advice 48 hrs prior so that we are able to accommodate them to our best ability. Please note that beverages during lunch are not included in the package and will be charged on consumption. All prices are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice. Follow the off-ramp towards Muizenberg (M3) and pass the University of Cape Town on your right. At the first set of traffic lights after the university, turn right towards Hout Bay and Kirstenbosch (M63 Rhodes Drive). Pass Kirstenbosch main entrance. At T-junction, turn right and follow the road until the traffic circle. Take the right fork down into Hout Bay (M63 South). Continue through 2 traffic circles into Hout Bay Main Road. The hotel is located on the left hand side as the road begins to climb out of Hout Bay (Chapman s Peak drive), opposite the beach. From Northern Suburbs/Winelands (N1) Take the N1 towards the city and take the Muizenberg (M5) turnoff (first turnoff on left hand side after Century City). After exiting the freeway, keep right at the fork, continuing until you see the N2 exit to Cape Town. Take this exit and continue towards city for a short while, keeping left until you see the M3 Muizenberg exit. Take the left off-ramp (M3) and follow signs to Muizenberg. Pass the University of Cape Town on your right. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right towards Hout Bay and Kirstenbosch (M63 Rhodes Drive). Pass Kirstenbosch main entrance. 10 From Muizenberg (via Chapmans Peak Drive) Follow the M4 back towards the city and turn left onto Steenberg Rd (M42). Pass the freeway exits and continue onto Ou Kaapse Weg (M64). Turn left onto Ou Kaapse Weg and continue over Silvermine mountain. Turn right onto Silvermine Road and continue until a T-junction at the bottom. Turn right onto Chapmans Peak Drive or Noordhoek Main Road (M6) and continue until Hout Bay at the foot of Chapman s Peak Drive. The Chapmans Peak Restaurant is located on right hand side at the bottom of the drive as you enter Hout Bay. From Muizenberg (via Constantia Nek) Follow the M4 back towards the city and turn left onto Steenberg Rd (M42). Take the freeway (M3) back to town. Take the Hout Bay/Ladies Mile (M39) exit. Turn left and continue through first set of traffic lights, turning left at second set of traffic lights (M41 West). Pass Groot Constantia on your left hand side. Proceed up to Constantia Nek Circle. Take the right fork down into Hout Bay (M63 South). Continue through 2 traffic circles into Hout Bay Main Road. The hotel is located on the left hand side as the road begins to climb out of Hout Bay (Chapman s Peak Drive), opposite the beach. From Constantia Nek Circle Take the right fork down into Hout Bay (M63 South). Continue through 2 traffic circles into Hout Bay Main Road. The hotel is located on the left hand side as the road begins to climb out of Hout Bay (Chapman s Peak Drive), opposite the beach. From Cape Town (via coastal road) Take Kloof Nek Road as if going up to the cablecar (M62). Continue past the cable car turnoff down on the primary road down into Camps Bay (Camps Bay Drive) until reaching a Stop/Yield sign. Turn left into Houghton Road which leads down to Victoria (coastal) Road (M6). Turn left into Victoria Road and head towards Hout Bay. Follow the coastal road past Oudekraal and Twelve Apostles, Llandudno and Suikerbossie. When descending into Hout Bay, go through the first set of traffic lights (do not turn left here) and continue past the shops heading towards the harbour. When approaching the sea, turn left into Princess Avenue at the traffic circle (follow signs to Chapmans Peak viewpoint). At the next traffic circle, turn right into the Main Road and continue for another 1km. The restaurant is located on the left hand side as the road begins to climb out of Hout Bay (Chapman s Peak Drive), opposite the beach. If you have turned left at traffic light at foot of Suikerbossie hill, turn right at first traffic circle and remain on Main Road passing second traffic circle until you see Chapmans Peak Hotel on your left hand side. From Sea Point Follow coastal road - Beach Road (Sea Point promenade) towards Clifton. The road will curve away from sea (keep left), pass a traffic circle and turn right towards Clifton and Bantry Bay (M6). Remain on this road, passing through Camps Bay, continuing straight on the coastal road. Follow this road past Oudekraal and Twelve Apostles, Llandudno and Suikerbossie. When descending into Hout Bay, go through the traffic lights (do not turn left here) and continue past the shops heading towards the harbour. When approaching the sea, turn left at the traffic circle into Princess Avenue (follow signs to Chapman s Peak viewpoint).
