3 Certified Conference Hotel In October 2008 the Business Travel Association of Germany (VDR) decorated the Hollywood Media Hotel as Certified Conference Hotel. This certificate represents a binding standard for conference hotels and enables travel managers to navigate with ease through the range of suitable conference destinations. The certificate includes a strict inspection based on seven categories and a multitude of obligatory criteria: conference area catering professional event management information material quotation and confirmation procedure billing processes facilities and services on offer for business travelers Information about allergy The 4-Star Hollywood Media Hotel was awarded the title of Allergy-Friendly Hotel in March of The certification was carried out by the European Center for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) of the Charité Clinic in Berlin. On the allergy-friendly floor we have specially equipped sleeping rooms with blank floors, mite proof covers to mattresses, blankets and pillows. Special filters in the air-conditioning units in the lobby and restaurant were some of the basic requirements for the quality seal. Furthermore, all hotel personnel especially service and kitchen personnel are trained on the special needs of people with allergies.
