The current proprietor Alan Gielty is following in the footsteps of his father Michael and grandfather Anthony. The premises was originally a guesthouse and later obtained a bar licence. Alan took over the business in In 2004, he could see that the pub needed to offer more in order to thrive. He redeveloped extensively. He closed the guesthouse and changed the business to a bar, restaurant and coffee shop to cater for new customer tastes. There are no strangers here, only friends who have not met. If you call us from within a 6 mile radius, we will pick you up and bring you to us. When you have finished your meal we will drop you home again FREE OF CHARGE.
