7 The NEW YEAR Written by former Resident, Barbara Ashby Yes, it s a brand-new year! Don t think about what you didn't accomplish last year. Wipe the slate clean. Look ahead and see the great future ahead of you. Smile now! Say to yourself, I am going to accomplish much this year. Sit down and think about all the things that are feasible for you. Yes, you say, I can do that. How pleasantly happy that will make you. I am counting on doing that myself. There are several things last year I didn't do. I m going to do them in I ve promised myself. Even though we are elderly, we can still accomplish things! So, smile now and say, I can, I can, I can! It will be a wonderful feeling. I ll be thinking of all of you. Happy New Year & GOD bless.
