Our aim is to introduce a truly high quality Indian and Seafood Restaurant which was created with ambition, determination and desire. A desire to succeed, in every sense of the word as we understand it. It is therefore important that we start by listening to you, our guest. By doing, so we will be able to deliver the best food, the best service and all in all, a friendly atmosphere second to none. We have a burning desire to please our guests. We specialize in Fish and Seafood in an authentic and traditional way. Throughout the world people are becoming more aware of the health advantages of including more fish and seafood in their daily diets. Bengali cuisine has always marinated fish as an integral theme. The Bay of Bengal provides a sweet water delicious fish and seafood such as Bengal Rupchanda - a silvery white pomphet and Tilipia. We have introduced a Tuna Fish Kebab, Bengal Rupchanda (Pomphet fish) Bhuna, Scottish Lamb s Liver Bhuna and fresh local Crab Bhuna recipe developed by Mahfuza, Mohi s wife, which is featured on the menu. We use as much fresh local produce as we can in all our dishes with a highly skilled team of chefs producing a mouth watering range of delicious dishes from Bangladesh, India, Thailand and Scotland which coupled with an extensive wine, Bangladeshi and Indian beer, and spirit list, produces a unique experience. The salmon fillet is marinated in lime juice, turmeric, green chilli and other spices. Jhal Kakra Bhuna (Crab, Hot Curry) (new) Fresh local Crab Meat, marinated with, fresh garlic and ginger, green chilli paste, coriander and then cooked with the chef's own special bhuna sauce. Highly recommended for seafood lovers. Sea Bass Dupiaza (Medium Curry) Fresh local sea bass marinated and cooked in a very thin slice of onion dupiaza sauce. Tilapia Dupiaza (Medium Curry) Very delicious fish fillet (bone less) from Bangladesh, marinated and cooked in a very thin slice of onion dupiaza sauce. Bengal Rupchanda Bhuna (Medium to Hot Curry) (Seasonal and subject to availability) Whole White Promphet fish, marinated with turmeric, fresh garlic and ginger, green chilli paste and cooked with chef's own special recipe. King Prawn Garlic Chilli (Hot Curry) Delicately flavoured herbs and spices, green chillies and coriander make this a fabulously tasty dish. Colonial Fresh water Giant King Prawn (medium to hot Curry) Large Bangladeshi freshwater giant King Prawns marinated overnight in rich herbs and spices. Freshly baked over charcoal then gently cooked in a thick spicy sauce. Tandoori Rupchanda (Seasonal and subject to availability) Whole White Promphet fish marinated and grilled, served with green peppers, onion and a touch of garlic. Deep Fried Rupchanda (Seasonal and subject to availability) Whole White Promphet fish, marinated with turmeric, fresh garlic and ginger, green chilli paste and then deep fried with bread crumbs.
