1 Grant Prgram Reprt ndian River Center AFA15 Fina Reprt June Mea tracker is in pace This prgram has made it pssibe t have individuaized menu based n specific residents needs dispayed n a tray card system t ensure that the crrect therapeutic diet is received by the custmers t incude preferences The prgram has made it pssibe t input residents ikes and disikes int the system This causes the tray card t autmaticay substitute the aternative Therefre the dietary aids have nt needed t remember t te the ck t substitute the aternative and the residents have been assured f receiving their preferences Additinay when a resident has wanted the same thing at a particuar mea it autmaticay has been printed n the tray card 2 ndian River Center has successfuy impemented the Fine Dinning atmsphere in the dining rm with gd participatin New pates bws desert dishes gbets mugs diet kits tray mats and napkins in pace We are using new trays new peets and dme ids This new peet system has heped us ensure that the custmer s fd is maintained at a prper temperature Recreatin has been prviding activities befre meas The staff pays music at the nn mea n ur new music system This system prvides surrund sund s that ne area f the rm des nt have ud music and ne area sft which we experienced when we had a tw speaker system We then seect ur music frm a CD isting 3 Beverages and sup are being passed befre the nn mea Staff members were inserviced n the apprpriate way t serve meas t incude beverage and sup 4 Staff greet assist with seating prpery pur beverages and verbaize the menu at each mea t the custmers Stackpe Assciates nc cmpeted the training n scripting t incude educatin n scripting t respnd apprpriatey t different request and tuch pints frm ur residents ndian River Center cnducted ten scripting training sessins f 9 minutes each during tw day training 15 empyees trained in the initia tw day training Emphasis was n fine dining Fw up training is nging A trainees cmpeted pst training survey Trained six OPS trainers in scripting train the trainer and five heped cnduct the training n the secnd day This ensures we can cntinue nging training fr thse that did nt attend the sessin and new hires that jin ur team Prvided training in prper serving Serve frm the right remve frm the eft Prvided sampe f what tabe setups k ike fr the fine dining experience Estabished Q mnitrs and impemented fw up t training at a meas at a catins 5 ndian River Center has set up fur fd cmmittees One fr residents famiies center managers minima participatin frm Certified Dietary Manager Recreatin Nursing Hme Administratr wh eads the cmmittee and representative frm nursing and regina ffice fd cmmittee Each cmmittee shares ideas
