1 shalimar The Shalimar is a family run restaurant established since 1995 and named after the beautiful Shalimar gardens which were built for Nurjahan,"light of the world" by her husband jehangir in During the mogul period topmost of the four terraces were reserved for the emperor and the ladies of the court. These beautiful gardens were renowned for their splendid sound and light shows and banquets fit for kings.
