1 shalimar The Shalimar is a family run restaurant established since 1995 and named after the beautiful Shalimar gardens which were built for Nurjahan,"light of the world" by her husband jehangir in During the mogul period topmost of the four terraces were reserved for the emperor and the ladies of the court. These beautiful gardens were renowned for their splendid sound and light shows and banquets fit for kings. At the Shalimar we have done our utmost to recapture that splendour of beautiful surroundings with air conditioning for your comfort and fine cuisine with an extensive menu consisting of mouth watering choices such as fish, lamb, beef, chicken, duck and vegetarian dishes.
