1 Our Story New Ubin Seafood s beginnings can be traced to Pulau Ubin itself, where the restaurant opened in 1986 on the island s north shore. There, we had the pleasure of serving up kampong-style seafood to all who visited Ubin s shores, developing a reputation for serving fresh, authentic and delicious seafood in a laid-back and relaxing environment. With acquisition of Pulau Ubin by the Singapore government in 1992, Ubin Seafood moved to the mainland, where we have been situated in several locations over the years (the most well known of which were the coffee shop at Commonwealth, Keppel Marina, Punggol Marina and finally the outlet at the junction of 6th Avenue / Bukit Timah Road) Over the years, our culinary identity has developed and matured. Apart from the freshest seafood and traditional cze char fare, we are proud to present our own interpretation of other foods- a Singaporean-take on American, French, Italian and Indian cuisine. As such, our signature dishes include US Angus Rib-Eye Beef Steak, Satay Foie Gras, Sous-Vide BBQ Lamb Chops and German-style Pork Knuckle. We were motivated to do this because it s what we, the people behind Ubin Seafood, love and we know you will too.

18 S I G N A T U R E N O O D L E S Boss Beehoon It s not difficult to guess why this dish is so-named it s exactly how our boss likes it! The Wok Hei in this dish, the silky texture of the beehoon (vermicelli) and the bite of the chilli padi is simply a gastronomic symphony. Only available in small size at $8.00 per serving. Mee Goreng Feel like something a little more spicy? Our Old Punggol-style Mee Goreng is arguably the best there is in Singapore. $10 for small and $18 for large. Fried Hokkien Mee If you didn t already know, our Fried Hokkien Mee is one of the restaurant s seriously heavy hitters. What makes our Hokkien Mee different? We simply use better ingredients such as prawns, baby squid, clams and pork belly to enhance the stock and flavour. What s more, we can promise you that it is definitely something which should be on your makan radar! We are dead serious about our Indian cuisine and if you have the stomach for something spicy, our offerrings are certainly must trys.

25 D E S S E R T S Life is short. Eat dessert first. Jacques Torres Sounds like good advice to us! Chocolate Alexander A molten lava chocolate cake served in the ramekin. What makes ours different from any other you may have tried? Well, we use dark chocolate which has 74% cocoa content. Simply put, better chocolate equals a better dessert. $4.50 per serving. Please allow a 20 minute preparation time so do order in advance! Enjoy it on its own or, for $2.50 extra, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Yam Paste This teochew favourite is one we take great pride and we hope you like our version as much as we do.
