You will of course experience the ambience and spaciousness of our tastefully decorated Restaurant. The Monsoon has proved that not all Indian Restaurants are the same and this is certainly not just another curry house. Monsoon Restaurant has been open since March 2000 and seats around 120 people in the restaurant, with including two floors and both fitted with fully licensed bars. We are the only one, bearing no connection with any other restaurant or takeaways. Since our opening we have forged community links with schools and sports clubs within the area. We are a committed local restaurant. The reputation we gained was for a no-nonsense restaurant where you could trust the food, trust the service and be sure of excellent value. The atmosphere is one of sophistication, not only in the interior design but in the way customers are welcomed, served and treated throughout. Our style of cuisine is contemporary Bangladeshi and Indian featuring many original dishes vegetarian and Seafood as well as chicken or lamb. For the health conscious amongst us we use only low fat ingredients ensuring quality at all times. Fresh water fish, which originates only in the Bay of Bengal. Bangladeshi fish known as Pangash prepared in a traditional Bangladeshi style. This is a white fish filleted, cooked with a thick sauce infused in Bangladeshi spices, fresh green chillies, coriander, garlic and onions. Although all these fish are filleted of the bone with high care but we would like to caution you some fish bones may still remain. BANGLADESHI CUISINE The following dishes do not include rice or chips. These following dishes are traditional Bangladeshi home style cooking, for adventures amongst us. It is a highly recommended spicy and hot curry dishes selected with finest Bangladeshi herbs and spices and a greater use of fresh coriander, green chillies. Jhool King prawns on shell cooked in a traditional style, slightly hot consists of variety of spices to give a rich taste. Bengal Chops Rezella 9.95 Succulent tandoori chicken or lamb chops on the bone to give an added extra juicy flavour, marinated with different hot and spices and then barbecued in the tandoori oven, cooked in a sauce with fresh garlic, coriander, green chillies. Similar to a korahi dish but a slightly drier, spicy & hot, cooked with strips of green peppers, onions. Shatkora Native green chillies cooked in a special citrus flavour sauce with garlic, onions and peppers. Zaal Native green chillies cooked in a rich and hot aromatic sauce. 7 TANDOORI RESTAURANT THE MONSOON RESTAURANT IS IDEAL AND FAMOUS FOR ITS PARTIES! Maybe it s the food that attracts them maybe it s the wide range of drinks. Maybe it s the party atmosphere we create throughout our function rooms Whatever the reason, we have created party rooms, which offer privacy for birthdays, anniversaries, business celebrations or any other social occasion. Ideally we recommend a special banquet meal for large parties, its ever so popular, or order individually off the menu, and for this a considerable amount of time will be needed. We will need minimum of three days of notice which ever you decide to do.
