1 BLUE SKIES WEST DINING SERVICES MAY BON APPÉTIT By Elizabeth Bain, Dining Room Team Leader THURSDAY, MAY 3 - SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2018 Regular Dinner Reservations Sunday Brunch Reservations, Holiday and Special Events bstwfoodreservations@blueskiestx.org ~ Important Changes in Regular Dining Services ~ Friday, May 4 Due to a Private Event being held in the Roadrunner Lounge, there will be a limited menu for Regular Dinner Service in the Main Dining Room Monday, May 7 Due to a Private Event being held in the Roadrunner Lounge, there will be a limited menu for Regular Dinner Service in the Main Dining Room Wednesday, May 9 There will not be Regular Dinner Service due to the B&A dinner in the Main Dining Room Sunday, May 13 Due to the Mother s Day Brunch, breakfast will be held in the Bistro 7-9am, and then Bistro will re-open at 1pm & close at 7:30pm Monday, May 28 The Main Dining Room will be closed for dinner on Memorial Day. The Bistro will be open at regular hours Wednesday, May 30 Due to the 5100 Wine Dinner being held in the Roadrunner Lounge, there will be a limited menu for Regular Dinner Service in the Main Dining Room Friday, June 1 Due to a Private Event being held in the in the Main Dining Room, there will be a limited menu for Regular Dinner Service in the Roadrunner Lounge. ~ Dining Services Reservations Closing Times ~ Please call the appropriate reservations number for making your dining reservation. Please do not make verbal reservations with the staff, as these may be forgotten or lost. Please, adhere to the reservation closing times listed below: Reservation Closing Times are: Daily reservations, please reserve by 2pm Sunday Reservations by 6pm the Saturday before Holiday Reservations by 12pm (noon) the Wednesday before Special Event Reservations by 12pm (noon) the Wednesday before The Dining Room does not maintain standing reservations for particular tables for any meal period. We will be learning how to read and understand food labels to help you make healthier choices. After 20 years of the nutrition label remaining the same, the new FDA label will have a separate line to show how much sugar has been added to each food, a change in serving size declaration, and new mandatory nutrients. Manufacturers have until Jan 1, 2020, to comply with the new labeling requirements. We see changes to the food label are coming, but how does the change affect consumers?
