Birthday, Anniversary and Newcomers Dinner will be in the Legacy Room. Sunday, Apr 1 Sky Lounge will be closed for Brunch. Easter Brunch Buffet will be held in the lobby. ~ Sky Lounge ~ Dining Services highly recommends making reservations for the evening meal in the Sky Lounge. We base our staffing and kitchen needs by the number of people for whom we have reservations. Unexpected arrivals compromise the quality of service for both wait and kitchen staff. Thursday, Friday and Saturday Dining Seating Times Are: 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm Reservation Closing Time: 2pm Sunday Brunch Dining Seating Times Are: 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm Reservation Closing Time: Saturday 6pm Please Note: Reservations are not needed for any of the themed buffets ~Save The Date~ Monday, Apr 9 April s Birthday & Anniversary Sunday, Apr 1 Easter Sandwiches Ham or Roast Beef sandwiches with chips for $7.95 will be available for purchase, please sign-up at the Front Desk no later than noon on Wednesday, Mar 28. Sandwiches will be available for pick up at the Front Desk starting at 2:30pm on Easter Day, Sunday, Apr 1. Join us for our Easter Brunch located in the Main Lobby. Seating times will be 11am and 1pm. Reservations are required, please sign-up in CC1. Cut-off time for reservations is noon, Friday, Mar 23. Eating right doesn t have to be complicated. Before you eat, think about what goes on your plate or in your bowl. Choose foods that provide the nutrients you need without too many calories. Build your healthy plate with foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy and lean protein foods. Cut back on sodium and empty calories from solid fats and added sugars. Most older adults need fewer calories than in younger years so avoid oversized portions. Lastly, be physically active your way. Pick activities you like, and start by doing what you can. Incidences of arthritis tend to increase with age and are not considered a normal part of aging. In this presentation we ll discuss food selections that can help reduce inflammation in the body and keep you feeling and moving better.
